"Judging by the voice, they're probably a guy, so…" She shook that thought away. "Ransom? Human traficing? The feeling of power?"

So many thoughts ran through Saphira's head "Oh god..." she muttered bringing her knees to her face.
Jesse had gone to Saphira's house to find her, after seeing she was not there he looked around for her.

Star hugged Morris to her tightly, stroking his soft head and murmering silently.
Collin walked back to the diner; he had left his wallet there on accident. The door was locked, so he walked up to Star's apartment to ask if he could borrow the key. He knocked, but nobody answered.

Rose trailed around, her eyes reflecting any light she was looking for a way out, Saphira was silent she never moved she just stayed hidden in the darkness.
Jesse was confused 'Where is she?' he thought as he looked for her, he was worried she was liek family to him, he made his way through town to find her.

Star looked up when she heard yelling coming from behind the door. For a second, all was silent. Then the door swung opened, crashing against the wall.

Collin walked outside and looked around. He pulled out his phone nd called Jesse.
"Have you seen Star? I left my wallet in the diner, and so I went up to her apartment to see if I could borrow the key, but she wasn't there. I tried calling her, too, but she didn't pick hp."

Saphira gulped she pulled Rose close as she hid.

Jesse answered shook his head "No, Saphira is missing too, have you seen her?" he asked in a worried tone.

Collin shook his head. "No," he said. "The last place I saw either of them was the diner."

"They're over here," the voice said.
Star sat closer to Saphira and grabbed her hand. Then they were both grabbed by rough hands and dragged out of the room.

Rose hissed and clawed at the hands as Saphira held onto her with one hand.
"Oh no.. what if.." he did not want to say kidnapped but it was what came to mind now he was worried not just for his sister but also his friend.

Another person grabbed Rose and threw her into a cage. Then they brought Saphira and Star to a dimly lit room and tied them to chairs.

Collin looked at Jesse with a frightened look. He ran to his car and started it. He opened the passenger door for Jesse. "I just remembered-Star said that every other day she goes out and picks fresh berries for the diner. Today is one of the other days."

Rose hissed she looked around the cage trying to squeze through the bars.
Saphira squirmed around trying to get free.
Jesse got in the car "And Saphira was looking for Rose in the forest, so they both must have been there, maybe there will be footprints or something."
