Madelyn made a face at him and laughed. "I am not a sissy!"

Nathan raised an eyebrow. "Oh yeah? Well prove it, then," he replied.

Madelyn frowned. "I'm too lazy." She sat on her bed and kicked her feet back and forth. "Are you spending the night here?" She asked, hoping he'd say yes.

Nathan shrugged. "I'm not sure. Won't your parents get angry?" he asked, staring out the window, where the night was pitch black and the stars were glimmering like the moon.

Madelyn frowned. "No," But she really wasn't sure.

[Lanana]

Nathan nodded. "Alright then. I'll stay here for the night if you want, and then jump out the window and sprint to my house tomorrow morning. How does that sound?" he asked, smiling.

[bows over bros;]

Madelyn stood up and hugged him. "Yay!" She gave him a quick kiss before she ran over to her dresser and picked out pajama shorts and a baggy shirt. "I'll be right back." She said as she walked into the bathroom and shut the door behind her.

Nathan laughed. "Wow," he breathed after she rushed out of the room. The boy lay down on her bed, staring at the ceiling. He waited for Madelyn to come out of the bathroom. Suddenly, an idea popped in his head. He quickly hid under the bed, and turned the lights off.

Madelyn came out. She looked around in the dark, "Nate...?" She called, tripping slightly, but not falling.

Nathan remained quiet, lowly and silently lifting his hand to his nose and pinching it, preventing him too laugh so that she would notice him.
