Darkfeather nodded at Sunfeather. He would try his best, for his sister, and his sister's best friend. He couldn't let anything bad happen to them.

"Yeah, it sucks." Cloudwing hissed. "What's also not good is that Icetail stepped on Sunfeather and now she's blind. It's not fair and I think Icetail might've done it on purpose."

"Brownwing's hurt." Cloudwing muttered. "We met a new Flock, called the IceFlock. They're very nice, they saved Brownwing from getting eaten by a cat. That stupid evil wimp sissy kidnapper took Waterfeather and... I don't know what to do... Oh, Skyheart, help me! My son's been kidnapped. By some stupid Golden Eagle. A loner, too."

"Sunfeather and Lighttail are connected. Your sister almost died," Skyheart chirped randomly. Then she turned to Brownwing. "Let me support you. I can fly with one wing."

"She has Fastwing's gift, she's not weak, mom." Cloudwing explained with a nervous laugh. "It's very nice for you to offer, but don't you think you'll get tired? After all, you're not the young bird you used to be... You're a grandmother."
