Brownwing smiled at Mudfeather. He had called her Mama! His first actual word! "Yes, Honey?" Not really expecting him to answer her back in talk that she could understand.

"Mama." Mudfeather peeped again, then started chirping in baby talk. "I guess you like that word." He didn't know how to say the words properly, he was just a young Hatchling.
