Brownwing chuckled. “She is adorable.” She chirped, not taking her eyes off of the bluebird hatchling. The other three hatched as well, all bluebirds. Fernfeather was the only bald eagle.

Icetail smiled At Sunfeather.

Sunfeather looked around the nest. She looked At all the faces.

[[I'm glad you understand now. ^-^ I'll show you where the posts of the hatching was.]]

Scarletwing had to stifle a laugh at his children being stupid. Cloudwing was impatient and Stormtail was always freaking out at other birds for some reason.

One of the eggs was cracking, and a hole appeared as a tiny yellow beak poked out. The beak disappeared for a heartbeat, then poked out again of the other side, and a huge chunk of eggshell came off. The Hatchling's head was clearly visible now, and the egg tipped onto its side, making the Hatchling fall out. He peeped as he wiggled out of the eggshell.

Another egg was cracking, although this time there wasn't a beak poking out of it. The shell just cracked in two, and another male bluebird hatchling came out. He looked up at Sandbeak and peeped.

"Mudfeat-" Cloudwing started, but was inturrupted by a loud "Shhhhh!" From Stormtail, and a glare.

The last two eggs cracked. The slightly larger one hatched first, followed by the slightly smaller one. One was a boy and one was a girl.

"The bald eagle hatchling's my favourite; she reminds me of you when you were a hatchling." Laughed Cloudwing happily. He didn't know that it wasn't nice to pick favourites.

Suntail pecked her dad lighty on the wing. "Da!!"

"Aw!" Cloudwing chirped. He decided that both girls were his favourites. The peeping of hatchlings could just make his heart melt...

Dawntail nudged her brother. "These are the cutest hatchlings I've ever seen!" Her heart was already melting with joy of being an [[???]] aunt.

Lighttail gaped at Sunfeather and flew over.

Skyheart put a wing around Cloudwing. "Darling, your hatchlings... they're wonderful!"
