One of the eggs was cracking, and a hole appeared as a tiny yellow beak poked out. The beak disappeared for a heartbeat, then poked out again of the other side, and a huge chunk of eggshell came off. The Hatchling's head was clearly visible now, and the egg tipped onto its side, making the Hatchling fall out. He peeped as he wiggled out of the eggshell.

The last two eggs cracked. The slightly larger one hatched first, followed by the slightly smaller one. One was a boy and one was a girl.
