Shadowbeak and Darkheart soared high up. They loved the feeling the the air through their feathers.

Brownwing was sitting on her eggs, as ususal, when one of them began to crack (it was the big one). “Cloudwing!” She chirped, anxious for her mate to come watch the hatching.
