"It's okay, Suntail... Everything's gonna be okay. We're just trying to make sure there are no more murders." Talltail reassured the fledgling. "It's strange, how she killed Winterbeak for something as tiny as that..."

Splatterwing had been waiting for Starheart. He saw blood on her talons and beak, but decided he was imagining things. He had been waiting for her because he was scared that she had been killed like his daughter and his son... Frozentail was on his own now, without a sibling to help him along the way.

[Jetti]

"I think she thinks that it is not fair, that Brownwing and Clouldwing are flock-guards and Frozentail is older then them..." Suntail chirped. She had gotten quieter now that she was here.

Starheart slept. She kept one eye open too make sure no one came and throw her out as she slept.

[SunnyJustice]

"I know that." Hissed Winterbeak. "But he's only older by one day... Seriously! I would've made him a hunter tomorrow if she hadn't murdered me like that! What a fail!"

[Jetti]

Suntail sunk back a little. "Sorry Winterbeak..."

"Um... It's okay, I guess. I'm not mad or anything." Winterbeak chirped. "But... I know Starheart is going to regret this deeply."

[-Frost-]

Brownwing grinned. She was bit surprised that Winterbeak had made her an adult already, she could of waited. Brownwing had flown into the treehole to sleep with the adults. But, she wanted to ask Winterbeak about her mother and what she was like in FireFlock. "Winterbeak? Is it okay for me to come in?" She called. But there was no answer. Thinking that her leader was probably sleeping, she flew into the hole with utter shock, her leader had been murdered! "Winterbeak's dead! Winterbeak's dead!" The bald eagle started freaking out.

"Winterbeak!" Cloudwing wailed, crashing into Brownwing. The others were still sleeping, however. "Who... Did this awful thing to our leader? Do you think it's that stupid loner?" He asked. He hopped over to the albino pigeon and pecked her very lightly with his small beak. "Are you sure she's dead?" He chirped. He listened for a pulse, then watched her to see if she was breathing. "Never mind, you're right. Who do you think did this?"

[-Frost-]

"I-I-I don't know. I went to talk to her about something and I found her like this. I know Starheart was angry that Frozentail didn't become an adult and about that he was older than us by like, ONE DAY. Well, one day older to you." Brownwing whispered in woe that her leader was killed. She and Cloudwing were going to stop this, they were going to make the stupid adults realize that she was a good leader...and now she didn't know what to do.

[SunnyJustice]

"Yeah... Do you think she did it? Starheart, I mean?" Whispered Cloudwing, keeping quiet, as if being loud would make the killer come to them and kill them or something. "I heard her say... "You'll pay for this..." Maybe she did!" Cloudtail whimpered. He was scared... If Starheart was a murderer, and Splatterwing attacked Winterbeak once, then what would their son be like when he grew up?

"Told you! Told you her world would turn into a living nightmare!" Yelled Smallwing, freaking out at Fastwing again...
"You should be glad she didn't get killed." Fastwing sighed. "Smallwing, she has both our gifts, you know... Intelligence, and flying."
"Ugh, that half-loner bird has my honourable gift!" He spat out the words like insect guts.
Fastwing just shook her head and sighed.
