What's a doe doe brain? Frozentail was about to ask, but instead, kept silent. Then finally he spoke. "I saw your brother and Suntail flirting with each other!" He laughed, partially at the offtopic comment, and partially at the fact that Suntail and Cloudtail seemed funny together.

"It's stupid." Browntail said, referring to the fact that everyone got to be in love and become mates but them. Browntail heard Frozentail and she stared at Cloudtail. "I thought you didn't like Suntail for leaving and such." She whispered, a bit jealous towards Suntail. Lucky Suntail. She thought. Oh Cloudflock, why can't I be mates with Cloudtail?

"I... Well... I liked her from the start, you know." Sighed Cloudtail. "But the truth is... Browntail, there's this nagging voice in the back of my mind that's telling me it might be the wrong choice... I would pick you if I could but..." He abruptly stopped his sentence with a sigh. "But we're different species... It's not just stupid. It's like, the Flaming Beaks. Having to see each other every day but never being able to be mates."
