Kelsey closes the door after Neko and sets Max down, letting him play in her room.

[shortstop]

Neko: I sit outside her room and stare at the floor.

[The Scribe]

Kelsey throws the rubber bone softly across the room and grins as Max runs to retrieve it. Then she walks over to her piggy bank and gets out the money she owes Neko.

[shortstop]

Neko: I turn back into a human and grab my sketchbook.

[The Scribe]

Kelsey walks out of her room and walks over to Neko, handing her the money.

[shortstop]

Neko: I raise an eyebrow, not remembering.

[The Scribe]

"This is the money I owe you, for the book."

[shortstop]

Neko: I smile. "Oh that? You can keep it."

[The Scribe]

Kelsey shakes her head, raising her eyebrows, "I'm not keeping it."

[shortstop]

Neko: "You sure?" I ask. "After all, I did mess up your ro-" I cut off, a little upset by myself.
