Cinder cried, he was hungry.

Shadow picked him up and jumped onto the bed. She set him down on Unity's chest.

"I don't know..."

"He's hungry. You can feed him." Shadow said and nudged the kit.

Cinder recconised Unity's scent and started to feed.

"Cinder...She not the same" Ruby whispered

Cinder didn't care, "Mommy is mommy." he mumbled.

Ruby dragged him away.

Axis watched, his eyes doleful.

"They did something to her sissy." Ruby whispered

Cinder cried.

Shadow licked Axis' face.

Axis wrapped his thin arms around his mother, holding her close. He did not remember her, to say the least, and was still too young to even grasp why she could turn into a cat, much less why she could speak.
