Rin laughed at her brother's reaction, she hadn't known he cared that much about his hair. Apparently he was bribing the cats to come to him with bananas, well, two could play at the game. She pulled out an orange and began to peel it, taking in a deep breath as its fresh scent filled the air.

Unity's cats came over and started to scrach Rin's legs really hard

Rin shrieked in pain and dropped the half-peeled orange along with Aibo as the cats thin nails pricked into her skin. She kicked at one that clung to her leg tightly.
Aibo yowled as she was suddenly flung to the ground and stared with her deep brown eyes at Rin furiously but then began to nibble lightly on the orange.

Shadow stayed hidden under Kaito's bed. She could smell the orange, she wanted it but she was afraid.
