I was about to reply with 'Either an ACTION <insert -BOOM- noise here> or a C-O-M-E-D-Y', but I ended up freezing. I turned my head ever so slowly. A car as pitch as darkness itself was heading towards us, and I tried to contain my feelings of horror, letting out a small squeal instead of a massive yell and a running marathon in the opposite direction.
"Oh, Tre! It's Their kind again! Oh, I hate motoring, especially when it involves Them! Not to mention that I hate Them more than my Social Science teacher... What are we going to do!?" I glanced around frantically before resting my gaze on the house before us. My house. Oh, there's nothing else for it! "Act normal, look casual!" I hissed at my friend before grabbing his sleeve and pulling him into the house.

(It's like a mansion but it's almost completely empty except for one bedroom, the lounge, the kitchen and a small bathroom)
I'm looking for the Donner Dog from the Christmas 2010 Sleigh litter,

I'm collecting the 2020 Easter bunnies designed by Anouki. They're based on a
Japanese pottery technique where items are repaired by glueing the pieces back
together with a (typically) gold lacquer. It's called "kintsugi" and the idea behind
this is that broken things can still be beautiful, a mantra that has helped me cope
with the latest years of my depression. I've been saving up for a tattoo, to be my
first one, which will also be fashioned after kintsugi. That's why this design holds
a lot of sentimental value for me and, consequently, why I'm setting up a hoard
for them: to remind myself that even though I'm still struggling now, I will get
better. Please help me with this hoard. Thanks for reading. ~Love from Moony

"O-kay, into your house we venture~!" I said quietly, as Amity dragged me inside. I couldn't tell if the car had seen us or not, but they were certainly close.
And I wasn't gonna hang around and give them a chance. That almost went without saying.
I was dragged inside the door, into Amity's house for the first time. The place was MASSIVE. But it probably looked that way because of the lack of furniture in most rooms, and because the place was a damn mansion.
"Jesus, some place you got. Y'know, this whole time I've known you I've never been inside your house!" I said, relatively astounded. "It's pretty swish."

She tiptoed up to the nearest window and pulled back the long drapy curtains by the smallest inch; she snuck a peek outside and watched the car carefully. It paused outside the house for a mintue, then drove on past. She breathed out a heavy sigh of relief and shot a curious look at Tredan. "So... Who do you think they are and what do you think they want?" she queried, her brain taking the first challenge thrown at her in years (schoolwork was a pretty ocean breeze to her :3 ). She was half-serious and half-trying-to-change-the-subject to distract Tre from noticing the fact that it looked like only one person was occupying the massive residence.

"I... don't know." Tredan replied. "Are they the same guys that know about our.... transforming? I asked, unsure. "Because if they are, then we're screwed. I don't want anything to happen to me, but more importantly you." I said, looking a bit nervous.
"What they want is obvious." I continued answering her question. "They want our powers. To lock us up in a lab and test on us like animals. To enslave us for theirn own benefits." I clenched my fists, and gritted my teeth.
If anything happened to me, I'd be distraught. But if anything happened to Amity, life simply wouldn't be wirth living anymore. I'd just go and chuck my acne-covered, rainbow haired, weedy, wimpily unfit body off a bridge, and end it.

I stared at him, a look of terror crossing my face for the briefest of moments, before I began grinning like an insane maniac that had just broken out of a loony bin :3 "Just putting it out there, but if it is them, then why can't we simply Shift and bite their heads off?" I asked. Theis had crossed my mind before, but Tre wasn't the violent type, so I had shoved the idea to the back of the jumble of thoughts swirling around inside my head. But it felt like, now, it was our only option. "I don't want to, but if they try anything on you- Er, I mean, us," I blushed, dropping my gaze, "then they're DEAD MEAT."

"Whoa, whoa. Whoa." I was a bit surprised. "Amy, I don't think we can. I understand it's the most... instant method of elimination, but it's also the least practical. We'd be murderers if we killed them." I cringed.
Surprising to myself was the fact that a little bit of me wanted to kill them as well. They'd stalked both Amity and myself for most of our lives, plus others like us around the world. I imagined a few of them existed - their sole purpose couldn't possibly be just US... could it?
I went and peeked gently out the curtains too. Nope, no sign of anything. Suddenly a lot less nervous, I let out a sigh of relief, and grinned at Amy.
"Nothing. Coast is clear." I said happily. "But I don't know if we can go back out. They might still be patrolling around, and if they saw us." I added, on a more sombre note. "I don't know what you wanna do now, but I suppose it's your choice." I clapped happily.

"I know that it's not a good idea, Tre, but I don't know what else we CAN do. We certainly can't be on the run for the rest of our lives! Would you care about becoming a murderer because SELF-DEFENSE? Anyway, they'd be criminals for capturing and experimenting on us, and murderers expecially if they end up killing us. I mean, what if we escaped? We'd expose them for who they really are." But I sighed. It wasn't a fight, but I still hated anything that resembled an argument, especially if it was with Tre. A wave of slight happiness crashed over me when he confirmed that the car was gone, but, "Yeah, we should stay. I still feel nervous-ish. We can stay here tonight. I've got enough food for a family of elephants in case something like this ever happened." I informed him, trying to drag him into the kitchen so that he wouldn't pass any of the many empty rooms in the house and start to wonder.

"Whoo~ Off to the kitchen then." I was dragged off again, something that was becoming a bit of a habit.
Her kitchen was massive, as was what else I'd seen of the house. But it was really nice.
Her whole house was a lot nicer than mine. Mine was a regular, single story brick, but because I simply lived by myself the place was awash with Pokemon cards, empty two-minute noodle containers and random duvets I dragged around when I got cold. No heaters, no real cookers except for a microwave, a second hand oven and a sink, and only a beer fridge and a wasted washing machine. Occasionally I hired a cleaner if I had the money, but I rarely did and could never be bothered cleaning up myself.
"I still feel nervous-ish. We can stay here tonight. I've got enough food for a family of elephants in case something like this ever happened." Amity said. I clapped happily.
"A sleepover! Oh My God, a sleepover! I can't WAAAAIT~!" I cried, clapping happily. "Wait, I don't need to wait, because I'M THERE! OH MY GOD!" I started skipping around the kitchen, my relatively girlish side taking over.

I rolled my eyes at Tredan's craziness. "That's one of the reasons I love you, bro." I laughed, glad that he was excited and finding light in the darkest of all places. "You're the most awesome amazing weirdo I've ever met."I strangled him with a quick hug, then took another step towards the fridge. "Alright, what're-ya hungry for? I've either GOT everythign or I can MAKE everything... that isn't grown, that is. Growing stuff'll take forever... I'm OFFTOPIC! Alright, what're-ya hungry for?" I asked again, trying to be optimistic.

I hugged her back happily, almost lifting her off the floor.
"God, you're light. I can't lift much, but you're like a damn feather." I put her down. She stepped over to the fridge gently, and I got what she was getting at.
"Food! Let's have a midnight feast~!" I threw open the fridge door and peered inside. God, I had no idea what to choose. I normally just ate noodles and jelly babies. She started talking about something while I sat crosslegged on the floor on front of her fridge and happily nosed my way through it.
...Alright, what're-ya hungry for?" she ended her sentence happily. I grinned, pleasantly optimistic with the variety.
"I don't mind! Whatever you want, dude!" I said, realizing it was probably gonna be one of those things where we kept going "I don't mind, you choose!" "No, I don't mind either, YOU choose!" like we always did.
