Gael saw her leaving and sighed, rolling his eyes, "They're all idiots..." He grumbled, stepping into the cafeteria. He paid for three meals, took the boxes, and left. He walked back to Anila's room and set her tray on the bedside table, as she had fallen asleep. He smiled and turned to Azriel, who dozed quietly in his chair. Gael brushed the hair out of his eyes and set his food box atop Anila's. He sat down and ate his own, finishing quickly. He stood and threw the box away, and had the sudden urge to check on Dylan. He walked the short distance between the rooms and rapped on the doorframe with his knuckles, "Hi." He said awkwardly, regretting not thinking over what he would say.

Dylan jerked around on his bed, trying to make his lower half move. Surely it wasn't true. It couldn't be. He was just dreaming, or he had messed himself up so bad it was only temporary..yeah, that was all. Maybe he was just really sore, and couldn't find enough strength to move. He looked over at the door as he heard a slight knocking, and furrowed his brows when he saw Gael. "Uh..hey.."

"Gwen went home." he informed Dylan, in case he didn't already know. "'Nila and Azriel are sleeping and I figured I'd visit you for a while." he explained.

Dylan sighed and ran a hand over his face. "I scared her off..." He tensed his jaw and stared up at the ceiling. "She's gonna have to walk home.." he muttered, knowing how much she hated to drive.

Gael shook his head, "It's not entirely your fault. From what I can tell, you're both too stubborn for your own good." He remarked dryly.

"She isn't stubborn," Dylan said, a bit more angrily than he meant to. He winced. "She just worries too much."

Gael sighed, "Doesn't matter, it has the same end result." He smiled wryly at Dylan, "I've been dealing with that kind of attitude since I was born."

"Gwen doesn't deserve that! She gets enough sh*t from her parents at home, she doesn't need it for me!" he yelled, making the heart monitor hooked up to him speed up. He rubbed his eyes and groaned, his face twisting a little.

Gael frowned, "Whoa, whoa, calm down!" He took a step forward, "You'll hurt yourself!"

Dylan gave a sharp look at him. "Hurt myself? You think I can hurt myself when I'm like this?! I can barely even move!"
