Azriel nodded, "You too. See you later." He moved out of the car and sighed, spotting the broken window. Gael fumbled for his keys and opened the door quickly, shaking his head at the mess inside. Azriel took his hand and led him to the bed. "It's time for a nap, Babe." He murmured, laying down while still in his clothes. Gael nodded with a yawn and laid down beside him. The two fell asleep restless from the days events.
Anila's eyelids gently fluttered open and the nurses around her gasped. One of them ran to inform the doctor that she had awoken, while the others began bombarding her with questions. She didn't pay attention and instead looked around her. She realized that she was in pain, but her tongue felt leaden, most likely a reaction to the medicine she was being pumped full of, and she couldn't quite remember how to form words. "Wa-Water...?" She asked, her throat feeling scratchy sa she swallowed. One of the nurses rushed off and immediately returned with a glass of water. Anila drank a few sips, smiled at the nurse, murmured "Thank you." And promptly passed out again.
