[Moonlit Dream]

Kurou grimaced as he felt the tap on his shoulder, curling up into a tighter ball and twitching a little as the surface of his wound broke. "Geroff... I'm not in the mood..." he grumbled briefly, staring at the opposite wall and hugging his knees into his chest. "And my name isn't 'little boy', my name is Kurou... Don't wear it out or I'll make you buy me a new one... Haha..." he chuckled halfheartedly at his own little joke, but then fell silent, still staring at the wall and not making any move to roll over. He felt a little unhappy that Kagu had gone. He had felt a lot better when she was here; but he reminded himself that it was her that had spurred him on to getting annoyed. But he still couldn't stop a cold stone of guilt beginning to form in his breast, and sulkily, he blinked up at her parents and then buried his head in his knees so that they wouldn't be able to see his face paling.

Dr. Bluebeard sighed, then slowly stood up, grabbing his herbs and stuff. "He should be fine...he just needs some rest. I found saltwater in his wound, and that helped it heal a lot. Maybe if you soak him in some more saltwater it'll help even more," he said with a laugh. He gatehred all his things and started walking back to his hut.

Kagu and Nanami talked for a little bit, the Kagu picked Nanami up and staretd carrying her back to the playhouse

Kurou groaned. "Hmph... I've had enough of salt water for now, thanks," he muttered, voice muffled by the fact that he was stilllying with his head ducked into his knees, without looking up at anyone. He hoped that Kagu would return soon. He heard Dr.Bluebeard beginning to pack up. Is he... Leaving?! thought Kurou in annoyance. Geez, if I was a doctor I'd, like, keep on pestering them until they either showed me the wound or I had to pin them down to examine it... He grimaced as a twinge ran through his wound as though in response.

Kagu walked in to the playhouse, grunting as she struggled to carry Nanami. "I'm not that heavy!" she kept complaining every time Kagu grunted. Kagu just rolled her eyes and kept moving. She placed Nanami on a cushion in the dressing room, near Kurow. "I'm back, she told Kurow, seeing her parents had disappeared again. She tapped his shoulder gently. "I found Nanami. she says she was traveling with you along Ryoshima coast. Is that true?" she asked gently.

Kurou twitched a little as he felt someone tap him on the shoulder again, and he gave a small mutter under his breath, still curled into a ball hugging his knees. He turned as he realized that it was Kagu's voice, uncurling his body and looking up at her with a small smile. "Yo," he said quietly. "I thought you'd, like, gotten all annoyed with me and stormed out..." He paused as she spoke. "Yeah, it's true. Not the best experience I've ever had though, I might add. -Uh, no offence, Nanami."

Kagu smiled down at him sadly. "Well...I did...but dude, I live here. Where else am I gonna go?" She asked, laughing a little. Nanami shrugged at him, looking as if she didn't care. "You're just upset because I accidentally dropped you in the water and almost let you drown," she said, making it sound like it wasnt such a big t
deal.

Kurou smiled wryly as Kagu said the word 'dude'. "Huh... picking up some of my coolness?" he asked playfully, winking at her with a chuckle. Kurou looked back at Nanami in response to her question, and his smile faded into a dull frown. "Yeah... I am. Don't worry, it's not like I can swim or anything fancy like that..." he added a second later, voice dripping with sarcasm as he rolled his eyes.

Kagu put a hand over her mouth, blushing. "N-No...I just didn't know what else to say..." She said quickly.

Nanami rolled her eyes, smiling and laughing.

Kurou couldn't resist a grin, and then started laughing uncontrollably as he saw that Kagu was blushing. "Kagu! You're blushing!" he choked out through his laughter. "You don't sound so sure! Haha!" He laughed, and then winked at her and licked his forefinger before touching the finger to his arm and making a short hissing or burning sound as he did so, eying Kagu flirtatiously all the while. Then he had to bite his lip to stop himself from laughing even harder.

Kagu glanced down, blushing a brighter red. "N-No, I'm not! I just...uh..." she stammered, blushing more and more as she spoke. She made a whimpering noise and turned her back to him, a sweatdrop forming on her head. She almost kicked him when she saw him eyeing her, but knew better than to hurt him even more.

But Nanami didn't. She flopped over to him, frowning, and punched his arm playfully. "Leave Kagu alone! You're making her blush!" She hissed, just as Kagu repeated, "I'm not blushing!!"
