[Moonlit Dream]

Kurou looked rather startled as Kagu walked in, feeling rather embarrassed standing by his bed in just his underwear, a purple vest and underpants. "Aw, nothin'... Just a bad dream, as is all. I'm fine." He smiled at her, showing snowy white teeth. A gentle blush traced his cheeks, and he floated up to Kagu quietly with a smile. Without his stilted shoes, he was a little ashamed to see that he was a bit shorter than Kagu was.

Kagu smiled at him, then noticed he wasn't dressed and blushed, turning away. "Um...sorry...maybe I should let you get dressed..." She murmured, starting to walk out of the room.

Kurou smiled at her, rather sheepishly. "Naw, it's fine. I've got my underwear on, anyways. It's not like you're, like, seein' anything that you shouldn't be... However much you might want to, ha!" Kurou laughed squeakily, floating after her a bit. Anyways, seriously though. You're up early!" he grinned at her with a smile. "Aaah... I know I was kinda... Sleepin' a little deeply before yesterday, but I feel better than I ever have before, ha!"

Kagu laughed, blushing, and shaking her head. She then smiled at him, her blush fading. "I came to check on you. I'm glad you slept well, but why did you scream? I thought you slept well? Did you have a wonderful night or something?"

"Dude, I don't scream... I be awesome." Kurou smiled sheepishly, even though it didn't really make sense. "Yeah... It was a kinda bad dream... Like, really bad." He sighed deeply, going backwards to sit on the edge of the bed again and then patting the space next to him to let Kagu sit down. "It was nothin', really... Just dreamin' about... Well, you know the day." He sighed and lay back. "It really wasn't that pleasant. But... Yeah, I had a wonderful night, didn't you?" He winked at her playfully.

Kagu smiled a little at him. "That doesn't make any sense," she said, laughing a little. She went over to his bed and sat down beside him, frowning when he mentioned his death. She looked at him, sadly, but managed a smile at his wink. "I know It's impossible to forget that day," she started. "But you shouldn't let that ruin your dreams. Try not to think about it so much, and maybe one day you'll forget it," she said gently, taking his hand in hers and patting it gently.

Kurou smirked slightly. "Well... It's true..." he chuckled, watching her from where he was lying on his back, using his arms as a headrest. "Yeah... I'll be okay... Just... Don't worry, 'kay...? It's kinda a personal matter in ways, and I wouldn't have wanted Yuki to know everything, y'know... So... If you've got a way to comfort me then sure... But other than that... Don't worry, okay?" Kurou was struggling as he tried to think of something to say, to put his thoughts into words. Sighing, he rested his hands on his stomach. "..Well, what I'm trying to say is... I'm probably better off without her... I mean, what if I'd woke up screaming in front of Yuki? She'd want to know why... But she wouldn't have been able to do anything, 'cause, like, she wasn't there..." Kurou scratched his head awkwardly. "...You get what I'm sayin'? Anyways, what I'm trying to say is... Well, it's..." he coughed. "It's like we were, y'know, made for each other, Kagu." He felt his heartbeat quickening. "We know each other better than most do, and, let's face it," he grinned. "What with my ultimate hotness mysterious figure and other-worldly-ness, I doubt that many people would be able to approach without burning up." He giggled, blushing deeply. "O-oh, and that goes for you too, by the way, well, without the mysterious figure and... Oh..." He laughed awkwardly, beginning to sweat as his confidence deserted him for once. He twiddled his fingers nervously and looked at Kagu, hoping that she didn't find this too awkward. "A-anyways! Kagu! What I'm trying to say is... That, I love you." After his rather dramatic announcement and rather... Un-dramatic ending, Kurou felt as though he had made an absolute fool of himself. He went silent and held his breath as he waited for a reaction.

Kagu blinked at him, wondering why he was acting so strangely. She blushed at a few of his comments, and laughed at others, a smile on her face. When he finally got to the end and said 'I love you're, Kagu fell silent. She stared at him, a deep red blush on her face. Finally, after what seemed like hours, she finally reacted with a smile, her gaze warm. "I love you too, Kurow..." She murmured simply, then leaned down and gave him a hug, still smiling, and it gradually began to grow wider.

Kurou looked at Kagu and blushed even deeper as he did so, a smile breaking out on his face at her reaction, and he turned his gaze away. As she hugged him, Kurou closed his eyes and grinned evan wider, propping himself up on one elbow and then wrapping his free arm around Kagu with a smirk. Blue eyes sparkling like twin sapphires, Kurou sighed softly and then nuzzled into Kagu's neck lovingly.

Kagu smiled wider, her cheeks a bright crimson color. She felt safe in Kurow's arms, and knew she could trust him. He was one of her best friends, after all. She slowly let go of him, and sat up, smiling down at him. "If you get dressed, I'll go try and convince my parents to get us some breakfast," she said gently, smiling.
