[Moonlit Dream]

Kurou looked at Kagu softly, and smiled gently. "Aw, c'mere, you," he said with a playful smile, then stepped forward and tried to pick up up Kagu in his arms so that she was lying in his grasp. He gave a gentle chuckle and winked at her, then smoothly began to float back the way they had come. Chibiterasu watched them curiously, tilting his head to one side. "I'll never get humans," he said, lifting a front paw and using it to itch behind one of his ears.

Kagu smiled up at him sleepily. She cuddled into him, letting out a content sigh. "Thanks..." She murmured. "For everything..." After she finished talking, she slowly closed her eyes and rested her head near his heart, listening to the faint rhythm of It's beat.

Nanami looked at him and gave a small nod, looking at them walk away. "Me neither..."

[Moonlit Dream]

Kurou smiled a little as he felt Kagu cuddling into him, listening to the beat of his heart. Floating forwards, back over the bridges and onto the main island on which the entrance to Yakushi lay, Kurou made nary a sound as his feet didn't touch the ground, his movements graceful yet the speed that an average person might walk. Smiling, he paused at the origin mirror and secured his grasp on Kagu.

Chibiterasu wagged his tail a little, and yawned widely, showing tiny pointed teeth. Standing up, he felt himself sinking back down onto all fours again as his body changed shapes into that of a wolf pup. Shaking some glimmering dust from his pelt, he gently picked up Nanami and threw her onto his back, then bounded after Kurou and Kagu, flowers appearing in his pawsteps as he ran to catch up to Kurou and Kagu at the origin mirror.

Kagu slowly started to fall asleep in his arms, feeling content in his arms. She felt as if she could just stay in his arms forever, and never wake up, staying stuck in that moment forever.

Nanami held on to him gently, trying to keep herself from bouncing up and down on his back.

As Kagu began to fall asleep, Kurou smiled happily, wishing that he could be that content at times. Smiling as he saw Chibiterasu trotting up to him with Nanami riding upon him, Kurou grinned and nodded softly as Chibi strolled casually onto the origin mirror, and nudged it with the tip of his nose, seeming curious at his reflection for a second before the image changed to become that of Sei'an city's entrance. Floating onto the origin mirror, Kurou smiled a he emerged onto the city's streets and began to float towards the playhouse, again wondering what Kagu's parents would think of him walking up with Kagu fast asleep in his grasp. He wondered if they'd freak out, or assume that they'd done something wrong, and Kurou couldn't help chuckling slightly despite himself. His hair gleamed gold in the star-speckled sky, blue eyes reflecting the moon's light like beacons in the darkness, his fine clothing shone beautifully and made him seem almost ghostly.

Kagu's parents waited a bit anxiously in the Playhouse, staring at the door, and waiting for Kagu. They were so paranoid about her it was sad. They wanted her to be happy, but they couldn't help feeling the boy wasn't right for her. Now, all they could do was wait...wait until she came home...and hope she was safe and sound.

Nanami held onto Chibi still, yawning a little. "What I wouldn't do to fall asleep in the depths of the ocean, far away from dry land..." She said, sounding a bit sleepy.

Kurou smiled as he approached the playhouse, and as he reached it, knocked quietly, then walked in, using his shoulder to push open the door as he was using his arms to carry Kagu. He smiled as he saw that her parents were sat watching the door, and inwardly prepared for the worst as he floated towards them with Kagu held gently in his arms.

Chibiterasu looked up, ears twitching back to Nanami curiously. As they emerged in Sei'an, Chibi took a different route to Kurou and rushed out through the city gates, wagging his tail happily as he sprinted down the path and onto the coast, towards the sea. Skidding to a halt in a burst of flowers, Chibi pawed at the water as though curious, and then lay down so that Nanami could get off if she wanted to.

Kagu's parents stared at Kurow as he floated in holding Kagu, their expressions a bit hard to read. But they weren't angry. They were just surprised. "She fell asleep?" Her mother asked, confused. Her father shrugged. "I just hope she had fun," he said, and carefully took her from Kurow's arms. "Thank you, Kurow," he said, smiling. "You're welcome to stay if you'd like."

Nanami jumped off Chibi's back and into the shallow water. She looked back at him with a tired smile. "I'll see you all tomorrow," she said, then yawned, and started flopping/swimming into deeper water.

Kurou smiled and nodded quietly, making sure that her parents had a firm hold upon Kagu before he lowered his arms to his sides. Smiling up at Kagu's father, he closed his elongated eyes happily. "I sure hope so! I know I did." there was warmth in his voice as he spoke, and his eyes glittered blue with happiness. "I can stay? How long?" he asked, feeling weariness beginning to tug at his eyelids. Kurou had to bite back a yawn.

Chibiterasu grinned, wagging his tail in farewell as he watched Nanami leave. He waited until he was sure that she was gone, before turning away and bounding back to shore, flowers springing to life in his footsteps as he gained speed and sprinted back into the city. Sniffing the air, he caught Kurou's scent and began to trot back towards the playhouse with tail held high and ears pricked jubilantly, hands swinging at his side and lips parted in a gentle grin that revealed teeth that shimmered like tiny diamonds.

"However long you want," he said, smiling warmly. "I'll set up the guest room," she said, then rushed off as Kagu's father walked off, holding Kagu.
