Strikeclaw sat in the golden rays of sunlight streaking across camp. He let out a sigh of content, closing his eyes and laying down.

Glass kit and silver kit were being kits, running and jumping around the nursery as brawnkit, clover kit and tiger kit slept in there mothers pelt.

Darkstar padded up to solarheat and sighed.

Solarheat heard Darkstar sigh and turned to see Darkstar behind him. "Do you need anything?" The half-blind medicine cat asked the leader.

"well since your asking could you tell the kits to settle down." mewed darkstar. "or tell stories or something to get the yawling to a minimium.Please"

Solarheat flicked his ears in surprise. "Why? I'm a medicine cat. Why don't you ask their mother to?" He asked. He twitched his tail, then continued, "but I mean, I could if you wanted me to..." He trailed off. He wasn't exactly great with kits, so he wasn't sure it was a good idea.

"Well instead of doing that could you wake lillyfur and ask her to calm the kits it would be a better idea,"she followed solarheat. As she questioned the fact what was he doing??
