Shocked at what she said he flicked his ears down pinning them against his skull. "What? You will give him what he wants?!" he said angrily.

Kasi didn't flinch. She looked at him in the eye, defiently,"if it is to keep him away from us and leave us alone, then I must." She then started licking each pup.

[Sila]

Luke growled slightly. "Yes but he will be back for more you know? It is not just a one time thing." he said looking her in the eye.

"It could be a one time thing." Kasi said looking at him. "Also I don't want to feel like prey every day."

Kasi pressed her muzzle into the side of his neck. "It could be the only way."

Luke looked down, "I know but..." he growled then lowered his head to lick the pups.

Kasi watched him and smiled a little. "He may die, we may kill him or I let him have one thing that doesn't involve killing my family and never seeing him again." She sighed thinking of the possiblities.

Jack twisted and pawed Luke.

Luke looked down at Jack. He chuckled. "Are you sure? I can fight you know."

"I can fight too, but I don't want you to get hurt again," Kasi said sadly.

Jack growled and pawed Luke's face again.

Luke licked him and sighed. "I promise that won't happen again."
