I nodded softly. "Yeah."

:Tammi:

I reached out and gently brushed my fingertips along his cheek, then slowly nodded and got out.

[Aven]

I followed.

:Tammi:

I led him inside, then set down on the couch and waited for the others to arrive. I hoped my parents and Jane would be okay.

[Aven]

I sat down next to her and looked down at my hands, thinking and hoping that they would be okay.

.bridget.

I glanced at Jayce as he drove.

:Tammi:

I leaned against Aaron gently, just needing to be comforted.

:Jayce:

"Are you sure you're alright?" I asked for the millionth time.

[Aven]

.aaron.

I slipped my arm around her waist, pulling her closer and trying to calm her down.

.bridget.

I nodded. "I'm okay."

[lilt]

:Tammi:

I leaned against him, my heart melting as he pulled me close. He was so sweet.

:Jayce:

I nodded slightly and relaxed my grip on the steering wheel.

[Aven]

We arrived at the building, thankfully, and I got out of the car.

.aaron.

I leaned back against the couch and sighed.

:Tammi:

"Aaron?" I asked softly as we sat. "Don't ever leave me, okay?"

:Jayce:

I stepped out after her, relieved to see Tammi and Aaron's car in the driveway.
