"Come on," I said, taking her hand in mine and entwining our fingers.

[lilt]

:Tammi:

I nodded again, then looked back to the little group. They were our family now, like they had been since we were 13.

[Aven]

.aaron.

I led us all to the gym again. People were going crazy, freaking out and yelling at the police and such. My eyes widened slightly and I backed out. "Oookay. It looks like we're on our own this time."

[lilt]

:Tammi:

"We have to get out of the school," I whispered, pulling him into the hallway.

[Aven]

.aaron.

I nodded. "I know. We have to find someplace...safer."

[lilt]

:Tammi:

"Let's get to the car first. Then we can plan," I said, glancing towards the doors.

(gtg, I'll see ya later!)

[Aven]

I nodded, glancing out the window at the cars.

[lilt]

:Tammi:

I chewed my lip slightly, then straightened my back and walked right outside, pulling Aaron with me.

[Aven]

.aaron.

I followed, as did Bridget.

[lilt]

:Jayce:

I followed them, beckoning for Josh and Grant to follow.

:Grant:

"Where are our wives and children?" I whispered nervously to Josh.

:Tammi:

I paused when we came to a corner, cautiously poking my head around it. Nothing. I slowly led them out into the open, where we could make a break for the cars.
