In The Next Life (Me, Wormy and Were!)

((Alright! Only including characters that are active currently; as in, Keegan, Chimere, Javed, Cerberus, Alex, Lance, Inle, and Annika. Here's what I've got planned; Alex flirting with a freaked-looking Chimere, Javed giving him a deathglare, Keegan looking blank as usual as Cerberus watches him from next to Javed, Annika hiding her face, possibly peeking out from behind Inle, Inle glaring up at lance, who is tilting his head at her and Annika. Sound good? Any changes?))

Alex smirked a little as he imagined Chimere's dark side trying to come up with ways to take over the world in the shower. He blushed a little, and snickered gently, before hastily putting a hand over his mouth to hide it. "Um, sorry, Chimere," he giggled, but was at least glad that he had made her smile. Watching as Chimere stood up, he pushed himself gracefully onto his own two feet, and watched her. "Well, if it has been then you could always come to my next lesson," he chirped. "It's not like they can blame us for losing a schedule on our first day, and you look, like, you got dragged through a burning bush backwards!"

Lance tilted his head slightly. "Dovah?" he repeated curiously, as though he didn't know what they were talking about, yet he knew something to do with that word. It just... Didn't seem all that likely to him. "That means... Dragon, right? Where'd you pull that out of? I only said before, 'you greeted me like an angry dragon'... Didn't I?" he sounded confused, and he lowered his folded arms to his sides. It was quite obvious that the phrase might have just slipped into his speech by accident, but then Lance should have known about that. It was strange, to say the least.

Annika frowned as Lance seemed confused of what he just said. She sat back and listened, trying to analyze him. He really was confused; he thought he said dragon, which was odd enough, since normal people (at least, what she defined as normal) didn't talk about dragons, unless they were little boys. Course, maybe he was just weird...Then again, dovah didn't sound like a word from any language she knew. Maybe one of the Germanic languages....Or Hungarian? She shook her head and signed, "No, you didn't."

Chimere: *looks deeply concerned*))

Pushing herself to her feet, Chimere held an arm over her chest, not trusting her shirt to remain intact as she moved. Now on her feet, she fished around in her pocket again, finally pulling out a miraculously untouched schedule. "Love to know what kind of paper this is..." she muttered, unfolding it. Scanning the schedule quickly, she smiled, eyes sparkling happily. "I've got swimming next. What do you have, Alex?"

"Yeah, no. You didn't say dragon at all. The only thing that even sounded like dragon in the word you used was the starting letter," Inle replied, watching Lance carefully. His confused manner disturbed her a little; she was used to people having full control of their communication skills, and the idea that someone could be so clueless as to what they said scared her a little. Biting back her fear, she twitched a little as the bell rang out, looking accusingly at the speakers. "Well. What does everyone else have for a next class?" she asked, pulling her schedule out of her sketchbook.

Alex frowned, then dug into his pocket to pull out his own schedule. After a brief examination of the schedule, Alex's eyes widened and he paled. "I have... Swimming... Like you..." he mumbled, quivering uncomfortably. He looked up at Chimere, and noted that she seemed happy enough about the lesson, and forced himself to give a wide grin. "Ehe... Cool..." he forced out, not bothering to voice that he'd always been scared of entering water, and had never learned to swim in his life. "...Can't wait..."

Lance looked confusedly from one girl to the other, and dropped his head slightly in a little embarrassment. "Apologies, Fahdon," he said after a slight pause, forcing up a smile of slight embarrassment. Looking up abruptly as the bell rang, he gave a mall growl, baring long, inhuman fangs as the noise startled him. Looking down at the schedule that he had been carrying, he scanned the paper then raised an eyebrow. "Swimming. Because that's very normal..." he said, with raised eyebrows and a totally unamused voice.

Annika pulled out her schedule, quickly scanning it when the bell ran. She looked up when Inle asked what they had, and Lance answered. She simply nodded to signal that she had swimming too. Great... She thought. She hated swimming. No matter how much she exercised, no matter how strong her strokes were, she nearly always sank to the bottom. The water was just too thick, and too warm, and too hard to move in; like trying to walk in honey. She was made for much lighter atmospheres.

Poking Alex playfully, Chimere was grinning widely, her eyes sparkling. "Oh, come on! A flirtatious dude like you should love swimming! Girls in bathing suits, and all!" she said with a grin, winking playfully. Noting his nervousness, she calmed down instantly, standing in front of him, looking worried. "Are you okay, Alex? You don't look good...."

"From what I've heard, most schools have pools in this area..." Inle murmured, grabbing her stuff. Frankly, she wasn't thrilled about this whole swimming business, either. She tried to swim only when she absolutely had to; she was a runner much more than a swimmer, and would rather be doing track, or something like track.

((Alright, so I've finished the lineart of the pic, but I had to cut Lance out due to lack of space, sadly... I should get the linearts uploaded within about two weeks, hopefully, to get your opinions and whether I need to edit it in any ways, and then I'll start colouring. ^^))

Alex blinked confusedly, looking down as Chimere poked him in the ribs and then with a small smile, reached out to poke her back. As she spoke, he looked up at her, still looking a little peaky, perking up slightly at her mention of girls in bathing suits, but not as much as he should have, or could have. He was still quite pale and even might have looked a little frightened to the incredibly perceptive. "Um, I'm fine... I'll be fine..." still not wanting to mention the fact that he was aquaphobic, Alex forced a flirtatious grin onto his face, still not losing the slight look of fear that his eyes held or the pale of his face.

Lance rumbled a little, then watched as Inle grabbed her stuff, throwing his own rucksack over his shoulder with ease, and then shrugging it into a more comfortable position whilst he held the straps in one hand. "That's true," he commented thoughtfully to Inle, looking towards her with grey eyes gleaming. "But I've still never had much practice in school." Despite this, Lance was rather looking forward to the opportunity, willing to grow his strengths in any way possible and knowing that when he had swam before, he had been able to do so fairly well. Perhaps not as well as someone trained, that was true, but not exactly badly either.

Annika gathered her things and followed Inle, a small step behind Lance. She was a bit excited towards swimming; it scared her, since she never had much practice--only a few birthday parties at YMCA, and even then, she never went past the three feet marker--but it was a new experience. She wasn't good at running, or speedwalking, or sports. Maybe this was her chance to find a physical activity.

Grinning as Alex poked her back, Chimere noticed how pale he still was, and wondered if something was legitimately wrong with him. Maybe he's anemic... It'd explain the fainting spells, too.... she thought to herself, checking her bag to make sure her swim stuff was still in there. "Come on. I don't really want to be late for class!" she said, taking Alex's hand and starting to drag him down the hallway towards the pool. She didn't even have to stop and ask for directions; she could smell the chlorine from here.

Slowing down so that she was level with Annika, Inle wondered if Annika was nervous about this whole swimming idea. She doesn''t seem terribly excited, but, then again, neither do I.... she mused, readjusting the straps of her backpack. Here's to hoping that they actually heat this pool, and don't leave it cold.... Turning to Lance, she smiled wryly. "That makes two of us, then. I've never been to a school with its own pool before."
