Alex grumbled a little to himself, but was at least glad that it was over. He felt a little bad for snapping; his mother had only wanted to see if he was okay. Alex resolved to call and make it up to her later when they were out of lessons. Feeling better with that thought, Alex cheered up, and stuck his tongue out cheekily at the people who were laughing at him, before turning back to Chimere and floating back towards her. "Ugh," he mumbled to her. "Parents... Sometimes they really do make me wonder." He winked playfully at her.

Javed: *glares at Alex* *to Chimere* I dunno. *hugs*))
((T: YAY! *chews on the soul*))

Javed scowled at Alex. Stupid playful freak....He needed to be "removed". Cerberus, however, loved him, and barked happily when he came closer. He stepped close to Chimere again, watching Alex, "Really now? You think your parents are bad?" He sneered, "My parents tried to have me exorcised. Has that happened to you?"

Chimere: *twitches* Get off of me now, before I remind you how much being kicked in the nuts hurts. *is wearing steel-toed boots that look suspiciously influenced by Nny's boots*))

"Boy," Chimere growled, looking at Javed, shifting a braid to reveal a thin scar across the left side of her forehead. "You think that's bad? My 'parents' broke bottles over my head as a young child in their drunken rages. Compared to that, exorcism is a walk in the freaking park." Once again, her eyes were flashing red, a menacing aura spreading out from her body. "Come on, both of you. Backburner the testosterone fest, and let's get to class. I don't really want to get yelled at for being late, but if that's something that gives you two pleasure, I won't judge."

Alex paused and opened his mouth, about to retort to Javed's statement, when Chimere spoke up, and he went silent. As she revealed it, he examined the scar on Chimere's head, and then turned away, feeling guilty for complaining about his own parents just for calling him in school. "Ouch... I'm sorry, Chimere..." He mumbled quietly, and looked up at her eyes nervously, sure for a second that he saw them flash red. He hastily turned away, the crimson hue of her eyes stirring some sort of a memory, and Alex didn't want to faint again. "Yeah... Let's go..." he mumbled, and began to trot in the direction of their next class, completely ignoring Javed and not even noticing that he wasn't floating. Insides turning, he wanted to reassure Chimere, tell her that they weren't his real parents and that he couldn't remember his real ones, but he didn't know how. He blinked his elongated eyes slowly, and made sure that his sunglasses were straight. He especially wouldn't want to mention that in front of Javed.

((Just realized... I'm the only one who doesn't have a godly character... *considers bringing Chibi in*))

Nny: Stop stealing my ideas, you little freak! *kicks Chimere*))

Javed pursed his lips and looked down at his feet. He wanted to argue, mention how his parents thought he was the son of Satan, or how they found him in the deserts of Texas playing with the coyotes, but he shut up real fast at Chimere's words. Now he felt like an a**h***. Cerberus, however, was clueless on the conversation. He barked and nudged Chimere's hip, trying to cheer her up from whatever was bugging her.

((Chimere: *growls at Javed* *is about to kick him when she's kicked by Nny* I'm the freak?! Watch who you're talking to, mortal! *screams curses at Nny in the Elder Tongue*))

Pushing her braids back into place over the thin and jagged network of scars, Chimere stalked off, annoyance radiating off of her. "It's okay. The past is past," she growled, trying and failing to not be so annoyed. Her headache had only gotten worse from the brief argument, and she could see things moving at the edges of her vision that vanished if she took a second look. Feeling Cerberus' nose nudging her hip, she rubbed the top of his head absentmindedly, taking deep breaths in an attempt to get rid of the pounding pain in her head.

((Anything! Before I had the image of Mr.Orange as their teacher for that, lawl... Or a certain cooky prophet that would brutally maim Alex's sanity... But he should be the French teacher!))

Alex nibbled on his lip thoughtfully, then quietly trudged on after Chimere, trying to think of something to say. Quietly, he looked from side to side, then moved closer to Chimere. "Hey, I'm sorry.Is there, like, anything that I could do for you?" he asked softly, running a hand through Cerberus's fur and then looking up at Chimere through blue eyes half hidden by his shades. He looked at Javed for a second before turning his gaze back to Chimere, wondering what the other boy would have to say.

((Nny: *screams in pain* *dies*
Javed: *stuffs cotton in his ears* *laughs at Nny's pain*))

Javed cursed himself. Now Chimere hated him, and Cerberus was back to being an annoying little pup who loved attention. Well, the Cerberus thing was normal, and Javed could kick him later for it. But now, the one possible friend hated him. He ignored Alex and Chimere and pushed through the crowd to their classroom.

The classroom had deep blue walls with a white ceiling and floor. Javed looked up at one of the ceiling panels, labeled "Ninja Exit" with a picture of an African American dressed in ninja clothing. An arrow pointed toward him that said, "Ultimate Stealth Ninja." Javed chuckled.
The room was full of large tables arranged in two columns with three rows in each column. Some kids were already sitting down, talking to eachother, catching up from the long summer break. Javed paid no attention to them and looked around the room.

The door was set to the far left of the classroom, and the rest of that wall was taken up by a whiteboard. Between the door and the whiteboard was a TV mounted to the wall, and a calendar underneath that labeled with this year's test dates. The right wall had three full bookshelves filled with large language dictionaries, mythologies from around the world, TV guides, game strategy guides, and the entire collection of Star Wars books, plus the movies. The left wall had two more whiteboards covering it, and one student drawing of Fluffy standing next to Hagrid, Grawp, and Harry Potter. The last wall had an air conditioning unit, the teacher's desk, and one more bookcase (this one full of more game guides to video games.)

"No. I'm fine," Chimere growled, braids obscuring a clear view of her face. There were tears in her eyes, tears of remembered pain and tears of self-annoyance, annoyance that she had once again told more about herself than she had wanted to. Stalking into the classroom, she barely noticed her surroundings, too focused on her pounding headache and her own memories. Taking a seat in the far back of the classroom with one seat on her left and right, she looked around her, finally taking in her surroundings. What an odd room. At least it's not a cave like the last one, though....

(I had a similar conversation before about what would happen if Kurou was a science teacher... He'd probably be banned from looking at certain pages of the textbook. XD))

Alex was a little taken aback by Chimere's tone, and he went quiet, though his mood was lost as he entered the doorway, and looked around curiously as he did so. "Woah..." he muttered to himself curiously, as he sauntered over and took a seat next to Chimere. "This is weird... Wonder what this is all about, huh? I just hope he doesn't try to imply that we're all, like, descended from stormtroopers or somethin' like that." Alex laughed at his own little joke, but though he didn't know why, he had the feeling that things were only going to get stranger.
