Nodding then sighing almost imperceptibly as Alex started flirting with her, Chimere began to wonder if flirting was like breathing for the blonde boy. Noticing, but not particularly caring, Javed moving towards her, she pulled her schedule, looking for her next class. "Same here.... What's with us having identical schedules, anyway?! It's really, really weird...." she muttered, looking down the list of other classes. What an odd school...

Alex nodded quietly, eyes flicking over the schedule that he had produced from the same pocket in which he kept his iPod. "Yeah, same..." he mumbled, raising an eyebrow as he watched Javed, and then glanced at Cerberus. He wondered if there was any way that he could reassure the dog without looking like an idiot; Alex had a habit of talking to animals, and his rabbits even seemed to understand sometimes... Same with dogs that kept on stalking him for some reason or another as though he wasn't only attractive to humans. Alex was sure he didn't smell that bad. Returning his gaze upwards, Alex sighed and began to float up the corridor, still barely noticing that he seemed to have developed the habit of walking without his feet touching the ground. It felt normal to him. Pausing a little way up the corridor, he turned and looked back at his friends. "So... You guys comin' or what?" he asked, looking at them over the rims of his shades and twitching his hips a little flirtatiously.

((Plus, I've no idea where this school's based. Which country? I think USA. English schools are boring...))
((And also, is it going to be like a boarding school or a normal school? Do they stay at school, or go home for the evenings and mornings? I think you guys should decide.))

((Boarding school allows for more RP time, so I choose that. US schools are boring too, you know. I pick CANADA! ))

Javed glanced at his schedule, then looked over Chimere's shoulder at hers, "I dunno." He said, "Easier for us, I guess?" He put the schedule back in his pocket and tugged on Cerberus leash. Cerberus jumped to his feet and padded after his master, watching the kids that funneled by. Most were curious, some stayed away, and a few weird girls squealed with joy and tried to pet Cerberus. Javed hissed at them.

"Probably true," Chimere replied, feeling awkwardly tall next to the two shorter boys. "Come on. Let's get going before we're late." Stepping out into the hallway, the throngs of people parted for her, as if there was something about her that just commanded authority. Ignoring Javed's hissing at the other girls, she was glad that people parted for her; there was something about the combination of proximity to Javed and to other kids that just made her darker side twitch....

"Yeah..." Alex agreed reluctantly, floating forwards through the crowd. He noticed that some were pointing at his feet and whispering to each other, and, still not noticing that he was floating, looked down, was startled to see that the ground seemed a little further away than it should be and that his feet weren't touching it. Giving a startled chirp, Alex stumbled back into a standing position and, blushing, looked around at people who had begun to laugh. Alex frowned at them, elongated blue eyes narrowing dangerously beneath his shades. "Oh, you better laugh..." he muttered to himself, with a touch of humour in his voice. Alex blinked and looked around as an embarrassingly loud chiming sound filled the air, and Alex looked around as though to try and pretend that it wasn't coming from him, but after a few seconds as the sound rang out again, blushing intensely, he drew his phone out of his pocket and answered it, using a hand to cover his other ear. "...Hey, Mom... Whassup?"

Javed: *cocks it* Oh, nothing...*points it at Alex's head* Yet.))

Javed walked along next to Chimere, a little too close for her comfort. Alex was in front of him, doing his floaty-thing again, and Cerberus looked really interested in it, but Javed couldn't care less. The stupid mortal had to go, and he had a lot of violent ways to do that. Maybe he could combine him and Lovecraft's tragic "accidents" and hit two birds with one stone...All the while, Javed had no idea why he hated Alex so much. Eh, he could figure it out later.

Sidling away from Javed as he walked next to her, Chimere wondered why he was sticking so close to her, even though she wasn't exactly being subtle in her avoidance of him. Watching Alex's feet leave the ground as the blonde boy floated along, she sighed, pretty sure that she was starting to hallucinate again. Rubbing the side of her head as she felt a headache start to develop, she hoped she wouldn't have a breakdown in the hallway; that would be bad.

Alex grumbled under his breath as he listened to the person on the other side of the phone, grimacing as he heard people snickering in the background. "Yeah... Uh-huh... Yeah, it's cool... I've made some new friends here, too... Uh-huh... Mooom! That isn't even right! ... Good!" There was a short pause, and Alex's face was blushing. "...Whaddaya mean, 'has anyone noticed your scar'? I'm Alex Josh Tsuki, not Harry Potter! Okay, Mom, I'm, like, kinda busy! Got... Erm, maths next! Okay, kiss kiss, love you too, Mom, bye! bye!" Alex rather hastily hung up and returned his phone to his pocket, hearing the kids around him burst into howls of uncontrollable laughter. Alex blushed bright red.

Javed stopped and looked at Alex, grinning. He was talking to his Mom in the middle of school? What a dork. the only times Javed talked to his parents were in therapy, and when they put his dinner in front of his bedroom door. He hated his parents.

Raising one eyebrow as she heard Alex talking to his mother over the phone, Chimere snarled softly at the people laughing, then blushed herself. Wonder why I just felt so protective... she mused, staring off into the distance, then snapping back to earth. While it's true that I don't exactly speak to my 'parents', I do feel a little bit bad for him. It's gotta suck to have parents call you at school.... she thought, rubbing her temple again as her headache slowly got worse.
