Nikki frowned and leaned back, gently kissing his cheek and wiping his tear. "It's alright, Link..." she whispered softly and wiped her own tears. She hated to see him so sad. Nikki hugged him again.

"are you alright..." he asked...

"Yeah, I'm fine. It doesn't matter." Nikki said and frowned, squeezing him tightly.

"it does...i mirror your emotions..." he admitted..."that is what happens if we are linked...

Nikki smiled softly and nodded, feeling special. She gave him another hug and then leaned back to look him in the eyes. "I'll try to be happy then." she whispered.

"this would do it..." he said, grabbing something from his back pocket. he held nikki's hand and opened her palm, placing a pencil, a brush, and a colligraphy pen.

"Oh my gosh, I love it! Thank you!" Nikki exclaimed and hugged Link, smiling happily.

"this is what made me happy when my mother gave it to me...i want you to have it so you can share the happyness i felt that day..." he said, reaching in his pocket for the ink bottle..."this ink im about to give you...it has something in it to make a shine, even when it dries on paper...the paint always has rich color and never runs or bleeds...and finaly, this sharpener...it keeps the pensil at the right sharpness so it wont mess up..." he said with a smile...

"Link, this is so sweet... are you sure you want me to have it?" Nikki asked softly, looking up at him and smiling.
