Scourge was pleased because of her acception. He meowed pleasantly, and then padded back to the forest to hunt for the next day.

Blackfur noticed Scourge leave the ally.
"probably to hunt" she murmured to herself. she stood up and followed him to join him in his hunt. she sprinted over to him.
"Hey scourge, can I join you for the hunt?"

"sure, Blackfur." he Answered.

They reached the woods, and parted their ways to get better prey. Blackfur went to the left, and scourge went to the right.
"When do we meet back?" she asked.

"as soon as we have caught something." Scourge said sarcasticaly befor stateing bluntly, "At sundown."

Blackfur went off on her way into the forest. hearing a rustle, she perked her ears up. An injured raven! She stalked up to it and quickly bit its neck.An easy kill that would feed more than usual. She went on, and as the day passed, she had caught a ton! (if it is spring time) the spring had brought more animals than usual, so her hunt was succesful. As the day ended, she gave herself time to run back and forth to all her kills. 2 Ravens, 4 mice, 2 swallows, 3 voles, and 4 shrews. It was quite easy, because she was a successful hunter and had skills like no other at hunting

Velvitpelt rested her tail on Scourge's shoulder briefly in a rare display of respect, thanks, and even a hint of affection.
She flattened her ears and stalked towards her den, her tail held high but head low, as if daring cats to displease her. The she-cat sat at the entrance to her den and sighed, her eyes closing briefly, then reopening, and Goldenpelt was sat infront of her, her gaze angry.
"You don't deserve this." She murmered, her tail flicking angrily.
"What do you mean? It's a privilage that I accepted. If you disagree, well just tell that to Scourge." She spat and flicked her tail impatiently.
"..." Goldenpelt sighed and gave Velvitpelt an all revealing stare, and the she-cat finally understood. Bone was Goldenpelt's mate. She had thought Bone had never had a mate, she never even though Bone loved anything. She understood how Goldenpelt would be angry that she was the new deputy. Silence fell as Velvitpelt wrapped her tail sympitheticly around Goldenpelt.
"Are you going to tell Scourge?" She meowed quietly.
"Do you want me to?" Velvitpelt replied, and Goldenpelt shrugged.
"I don't know. Just, do what's right. You don't know what it's like to have the one you love ripped away from you."
"Actually I do." Velvitpelt replied, and left Goldenpelt puzzled as she stalked into her den.

Scourge padded away from the forest with a mouth full of prey. This time, he brought it to his den for his emergency stash.

Velvitpelt heard the arrival of Scourge and pondered on whether to tell him about Goldenpelt and Bone. She decided that she would and padded over to the tom.
"Scourge. Goldenpelt is no longer a threat, I have found out why she is like this."
