Damon lifted her up in his arms as he looked at her. "Please...lets just go back to the house and I will try my best to explain what was going on..." He had tears streaming down his cheeks as he looked at her. "P...please..."

Jessica smiled softly as she kissed the top of his head as she slowly relaxed, closing her eyes.

The girl growled softly, turning and walking away instead of doing anything. Ruari frowned and stared at him in silence, scared to trust him again as she kept being reminded over and over how he had simply walked up to her and told her they were done. "Y-Yeah....." Ruari finally whimpered then buried her face against his chest, gripping tightly onto his shirt with her hands. She decided to ask later about why his blood was on his hands.

"I love you Jessica...." Jey mumbled softly, opening his eyes to gaze up at her face.

Damon held her close to him as he quickly left back to the house. He checked on Aurora before sitting on the couch and holding Ruari close to him. His eyes were bloodshot from his crying.

Jessica smiled warmly as she looked at him. "Those words will never get old coming from you...I love you as well."

"Damon.....why have you been crying?" Ruari asked in a quiet voice, reached up and wiping away some dried tears from his face with her sleeve. She moved her hand away once finished, resting it down on her chest while she gazed up at him without saying anymore.

"Good, because I'll never ever stop saying that!" Jey laughed then kissed her over and over again.

Damon looked down as he tightly closed his eyes. He rested his head on her shoulder as he began to shake. "I...I didn't want you to leave...I...I only wanted you to be....safe." Tears fell freely.

Jessica giggled and kissed back each time.

Ruari listened in surprise, but then closed her eyes. She rested a hand on Damon's head gently and ran her fingers through some of his hair. "I-I don't want to be alone though.... she whispered. "I-It's scary..." She whimpered.

Jey chuckled once he finished, grinning like a dork. "I told you I love you!"

Damon held her close as he was soon consumed in sobs. His entire body shook as he did so.

Jessica grinned widely. "I love you too!"

Ruari whimpered softly as she wrapped her arms around Damon in a gentle hug. She remained silent with her eyes closed, really wanting to trust him again, but she was worried he may decide to do something like that again. Ruari only tightened her grip around him at the thought, not wanting to lose him or be all alone again.

"No you don't, you're lying." Jey chuckled as he was obviously only joking around with her. "I love YOU, not you love me!"

Damon kissed her head nonstop as he rubbed her stomach a bit, his eyes still closed tightly."

Jessica shook her head. "I love you as well!!!"

Ruari let out a whimper, burying her face against Damon's chest as she tightened her grip around him as well. She frowned, shaken up from what had happened and that she had just almost lost him. Ruari gripped his shirt, but after a few minutes, very slowly began to slip into sleep.

"Nooo, I love YOU!" Jey whined, hugging her tightly but careful to be gentle. "And cargo too!"
