- Mika has little idea from where he name comes from, she knew her mother was a drunk and is sure it was a drunken slur for "Mikaela". She doesn't know and she doesn't care. Her last name is still the last name of her mothers though, and she keeps it as a reminded not to be like her mother. It works most of the time as anytime she thinks of her last name, she packs up and heads back to her house instead of partying everywhere and getting dragged into some strangers bed. It's worked so far.. sort of.
Mika has always hated her name, so she has everyone calling her Mika because it is cute, small, and bouncy. Like her. She utterly hates her middle name. It's a curse. It's the most unattractive name she could think of... No girl, no matter how hot, can make the name "Francine" sound sexy...

To start from birth, Mika was a complete drunken accident. Conceived by a teen mom, with a dad who was to young to deal with the maturity of sticking around and helping raise her... She never new her dad, and by the age five years old she went to a foster home because her mother was using drugs. So, she didn't know much of her mom either. Oh well, the people in the foster home treated her better anyway.
After a year in the same foster home, the foster people lost their money due to some giant scam which stole all of their money so they gave her back to the orphanage. She then hoped around to a few different foster homes. It never bothered of her, but she gained a bit of a drinking addiction when she was twelve because one of her foster parents had a son who was twenty... he would add booze to her drinks because he found it funny to watch her wobble around and then fall down. After a while, she started to steal his drinks. She has yet to fully get out of this addiction.
She found a parent to adopt her when she was seventeen but she didn't care. By this time, she had adopted a dog off of the streets and had found animals were a lot more fun to hang with then humans. She found all humans bite their friends and lick the feet of their enemies while animals bite their enemies and stand by their friends. She figured the animals had the right thing going.

- Mika was graced with beauty from the fact her mother was a also beautiful, so she has heard. Because of this, she was very pretty, though she has a few scars that decorate her frame, mainly from fights with her foster siblings. But her appearance is quite enchanting...
Her hair is long and dark brown hair that reaches the small of her back and usually covers her her back and any marks on the back of her shirt. She likes to wear her hair down when is busy and keeps it up when she is just lazing around. She likes to be able to play with her hair while she is busy or working so she usually keeps it down to play with. She likes to keep her hair clean so you will rarely see it ratty. She takes pride of her hair and often can be caught playing with it.
Her eyes are starlight blue, but they darken, though don't turn red or anything, when she feels pressured or aggressive. It happens a lot. She doesn't usually like to have people point it out though it does happen quite a bit.
Her body is curved gently with an hourglass figure, though she does have a lot of lean muscle through her legs and arms which have been acquired by running around to get stuff done, she has to keep those alcohol calories from piling up too. She has no issues with her physical appearance and actually finds she likes it quite a bit. Her pale skin is a result of preferring to sleep during the day and go out at night.

Mika is a very different girl, she has a lot of different sides to her... Lets start off with a few of the easier ones to recognize... Like her animal loving side.
Mika is a true animal lover. If she see's you being even slightly cruel or looking like you are about to raise your hand to an animal, she is likely to pick up a stick and beat and stab you with it until you run off while she hugs on the animal. If you have any interest in her, the quickest way to her heart is showing you are about as big an animal lover as she is... now, just because she loves animals doesn't mean she is going to protest against things unless it is completely unfair. She understands humane euthanization of animals... But she is for people spaying and neutering their animals, finding it stops animals having to be put to sleep in shelters for over crowding. She is also highly against people who breed dogs. There are plenty in the pound who need rescuing, and if someone buys the dog and then gets tired of it and leaves it in the shelter, it is just one more animal who faces the chance of never getting a home.
Next is her party and jokier girl. She loves to joke around and head out to parties. It's hard for her to work so she usually ends up going out to some sort of party.. The smells, the sounds, and the feeling of the electricity in the air causes her to love parties. She has always loved them and she always will. But when she is at the parties she struggles a hard battle with her demons who want her to drink alcohol. Alcohol has caused many issues in her life... When she is drunk; she gets loose, she gets wild, she forgets her manners, and she forgets to stop people. It has caused her to lose her virginity, money, and sometimes her self respect... She is very unstable with alcohol so do not tempt her... It won't give you the results you want.
Mika is also very lazy. She is really smart and a great worker.. but she doesn't like to work. If you want her to work for things, you have to give her a reward at the end or give her a serious reason to work... if you do that then you will likely have it done quickly and properly. She is very efficient, just so damn lazy.
She can get bit testy if you poke and prod at the wrong places... She is neither physically nor mentally shy, but she does not want people trying to pity her because of her past, she will instantly label you as someone she doesn't want to hang out with and is unlikely to talk to you again.

- Jake was named after his grandfather and took his grandmothers middle name as his own middle name. He has a long line of decedents and family that tend to pass on names and it becomes quite confusing if you try and meet all of his family, thankfully, you can look at the family tree and get that sorted out a bit. Jacob often goes by Jake just because his full name is one letter longer and is two syllables instead of one. He's a bit lazy, if you can't tell.
Jake's brother was named Cody Keiler Thomas. Cody was named after his grandfather on his mothers side and his uncle on his fathers side.. see, more confusing name passing on stuff! Honestly, his family is full of it... You might need to make a list of this stuff if you want to keep up!

Jacob had met a girl and become friends from the start, with some teasing from his brother, of course, but never the less, they had been close friends and it hadn't changed. They had been together from the start and, unknown to Jake, had left his brother out in the cold a bit. Everything seemed perfect till Jake turned fifteen and his brother committed suicide, having been bullied to death by other teenagers.
This completely devastated Jake and he still hasn't quite gotten over it, so the thought of loosing someone close to him scares him great. His life soon spiraled out of control as well... his father started to drink and actually became quite abusive. The once kind and fun father he knew had become violent and a drunk. His parents got a divorce and he hasn't seen his father since he was sixteen.
Things slowly began to get better though, the recovery was hard but it was coming... He still hasn't quite gotten over it but is slowly trying to do so. He has the help of his friend and is still trying to get over what had happened. He still completely blames himself for not noticing the signs in his twin brother but he doesn't admit it, knowing people would only tell him otherwise.

- Jacob is about 6'2'' and is rather thin with lean muscle, having nothing to big. His skin is a bit tan though nothing over the top. He is about 125lbs. He would probably be more muscular if he was a different creature, though the males in his family tend to be rather light and quick instead of heavy and fighting types. While he avoids head on fighting, he won't be the type to have flowers in his hair and having a pan flute in his hand either.
Jakes hair is dark brown and is close to black. Most of the time it looks black, but in the right light it is brown. His eyes seem to match his hair most of the time and from the side they look a very handsome mocha color. It is rather hot and his brown eyes always make the girls melt, but he has the ability to turn that off when he wants too... His eye and hair color tends to match the bark of a tree which has been struck by lightening, which only some people notice.

Jake was always an odd guy. He loves to come and have some fun just to have things to do. He is usually the life of the party, but is never an idiot. Not much though. He likes to mess with others and has a great sense of humor. He is the lighthearted kind of boy who is going to work his a** off to make others laugh when they are down.
He loves flirting and having a good time and doing anything he can to cause trouble. He is likely to flirt with girls who already have boyfriends because he just doesn't care. Jake has a pretty dirty mind, but is very well tempered. He doesn't like to be ignored and it quite loving compared to some boys. He won't hurt people, unless they threaten him, and he is as loyal as can be.
He can be a bit lazy at times though when he doesn't know what to do, which is when he can usually be found skateboarding down the street while trying to spot something fun...
He has some trust issues with humans due to his past but is very loyal if he finds someone he really likes. He can be a great friend and very helpful. He dislikes anyone actually hurting nature in anyway. He can easily get in an argument with someone if they are being mean to anyone. He doesn't like it much at all. He will throw a fit and demand she change into something more respectable.
His past has caused him to have a very protective side over women and he will not spare a punch for a guy who hits a girl, he probably isn't the first guy you would think who would get in a fight right away.
He is a giant flirt, he loves flirting around and knows he is good at it. He likes flirting with pretty girls and liking having them giggle and blush when he does so. But, if he really likes someone, he will actually be rather shy around them instead of constantly flirting.
