Edward nodded in agreement.

Alice stood up out of her crouch. "Fine, but tell her to stop torturing Edward!"
Rose stood up. "Fine." She said, then flitted out of the room.

Bella looked at him. "Don't try anything more then a kiss." She emphasized.

Jacob smiled and kissed her."I won't." he promised.

Edward sat down again and looked at charlial."what do I do?" he asked so quietly only a vampire could hear.

Carlisle put a hand on his shoulder. "I don't know." The pain in his eyes was overwhelming. "I'm sorry Edward."
Alice sat down on the ground next to him. "You could go...." She trailed off.

Bella smiled. "Good."

Edward looked at her. Read her mind."I can't. It's bad for her."

Alice shook her head. "No, I meant go see her. But don't interact with her. It would only make it harder for the both of you."

Bella lookd at him. "Jake, why are you so warm?"

Edward shook his head no."Jacob would smell me. Tell her. And I wouldn't be able to stay away.

Alice nodded. "It was just a thought." She grimaced. "And I could take care of the wolf."

Bella nodded. "Oh. I was just warming. It feels nice." She squirmed closer to him.

Edward shook his head again."it would hurt her too much"

Alice sighed. "I know how you feel Edward. Well, not exactly the same. I loved her too. She was more then a friend. A sister in so many ways."
