Urahara eyed her for a minute, and smugly hit her head once more with the closed fan. "You're not supposed to apologize, you're supposed to argue and be difficult. You should have sadi something like, 'how is wanting to kill a notorious bad guy selfish, you old cook?' And then I'd say, 'because you're doing it for selfish reasons.' And then,realizing my correctness and superiority, you would fall to your knees and beg for forgiveness." He fanned himself pointedly while looking down at her through half closed eyes.

Zabimaru started laughing

Urahara cracked a smile as well. When Zabi was finished laughing, he asked her, "Why do you still have feelings for that boy? I mean, he did try to kill you. Doesn't that damper the dream bit? I won't tell Ichi what you say, so you don't have to worry about his reaction."

"Yeah I do...sorta, not as much as before."Zabimaru sighed

Karu carefully picked his way through the dark streets of the big apple. Not the safest place to be, but it would do until he grew used to blindness. It was certainly much safer than Karakura town at the moment. He smelled liquor and throwup, and heard loud laughter combined with slurred cursing. A bar. Just what he needed. He entered the bar and sat at one of the barstools. He ordered a beer, but only to keep up appearances. Surprisingly, he didn't get carded. When the bartender wasn't looking, he poured half the drink onto the floor. He strolled over to a very drunk man. With a few harsh words, he lured the man outside for a fight. In the dark alleyway behind the bar, he easily incapacitated the man and devoured his soul. "Much better," he sighed, dropping the corpse to the ground. He instantly felt stronger, even though the human's soul was quite insubstantial. It would do though.

Zabimaru shrugged,"I don't know..."

Urahara sighed. "That's hardy a proper answer. Anyway, get lots of rest, don't strain yourself too much, and you'll heal up in a few days. Now go home and tell Ichigo you're fine, before he worries himself sick."

Zabimaru stood up,"I'm going to the cemetery first, Xaven and I are gonna talk."

Urahara sighed. "If you insist. Just remember you have a chip in your arm, okay? Don't try anything foolish."

Just then Ichigo returned. "That punk's not anywhere within a hundred miles of us. You're safe for now, Zabi." He turned to Urahara and asked, "So what's the damage?"

"Nothing serious. She'll be fine in a few days."

Ichigo breathed a sigh of relief and folded his arms around Zabi. "You worry me sometimes."

Zabimaru hugged him,"i know....But I'm a teenager with soul reaper powers whatch expet? An angel?"
