((sorry ppl i've been offline, but i can't stick around, I have to go to a funeral, so sorry i haven't been on much, lifes a little hectic right now. ))

Twig smiled "yeah" he glanced at the pretty she-cat "would you like to be a clan cat? I could teach you everything you know, and once i take over, you can be my deputy" he smiled, staring at pixie with power hungry eyes.

Lighfoot motioned for shallowmoon to come outside of the den a little way ahead of hailstorm "Shallowmoon," he whispered in a quiet hushed voice. "i've been thinking about it. I really like you, a lot." he stared at her deeply. "you are wonderful, and amazing." he shifted on his paws, suddenly very un-deputy-like "i....i know..um.. we can't be together because your a medicine cat, but, we can at least try. We can keep it a secret. You can keep up with your duties, and I'll keep up with mine, no one would ever know" he looked down at her with pleading eyes. "please" he whispered, his voice barely audiable.

Shallowmoon was stunned. "Lightfoot......think about Hailstorm. If i start being with you, she wouldn't like that. I promised her that i wouldn't be your mate. I'm sorry, i just....can't break that promise."

Lighfoot stood dumb- founded at both she-cats. he hissed at their faces. "you both disgust me. You two are nothing different then you ever were. I though your were a friend" he posinted to hailsotrm, "you can't hate me for having emotion towrds another she-cat. but yet again, you've never been staright" then looked at Shallowmoon. Disgust in his eyes. "well you really made hailstorm feel better didn't you? Look see how happy she is." he nammowed his eyes unsheathing his claws. "you know, i will grow old alone. You know why? Because none of you she-cats are evern worth being with. Your all the same" He spun around, and started to walk out wondering if they could hear his heart crack. He just lost his two best friends. how could they?! all he felt was rage and grief

Pixie's eyes sparkled with mystery, she might be able to take the rank this cat so wanted, Pixie knew how to hunt and fight. "OK." she purred.

Hailstorm felt tears fall down her cheeks, "Oh now i've done it. He hates me..." she sobbed, hitting her head multipule times on the den wall. She burst into loud tears and swallowed some poppy seeds for the pain in her legs. Then she limped out of the medicine cat den and curled up in the corner to cry. The poppy seeds started to work, but she had taken too many, he vision started blurring and she passed out, lapsing into a coma. Tears still streaming hot down her furr. She lay motionless in the middle of camp, she probably would have thought to be dead if it wasn't for the loud frantic heartbeats, trying to keep her alive.

Pixie smiled "I would like that" she mewed.
