Dib kept his eyes open. Without Zim's eye-light, he could see better with his night vision, and the people outside couldn't see him. After what felt like an hour, his Dad sighed and said, muffled by the door, "Well, they're gone. Search the hallway. I will go back to the lab."

((Remind me tommorrow, right now the computer hooked up to our scanner is being an old dinosaur... Again...
Zim: Yes! Yes I did........ And?))

Zim almost opened one eye in surprise. They weren't going to search the rooms along the hallway? Perhaps Dib's father wasn't as horribly clever as Zim had started to fear. He still continued breathing as slowly and quietly as he could, antenna twitching, wanting to make sure all the earth smellies were REALLY gone, before they came out.

Dib: That's WRONG! *runs back* *holding the mustard bottle* Don't make me use this.))

Dib's father was much more clever than even Dib knew, but his guards weren't. All evil men had stupid henchmen. They searched the hallway allright, up, down, left right, but they didn't think to search the rooms, "There's are locked right?" One asked halfway through. The other said, "Uhhh....Yeah."

Well, I have one interesting cousin. He chased my little brothers around roaring and pretending to eat them cause they were throwing pretzels at him. XD Thank goodness for suger highs.
Zim: *whimper* But my tallest told me to! If I disobeyed them I'd die painfully after going into depression! Zim can't be happy unless he pleases his tallest! *sad puppy eyes*))

Zim held his breath again when the gaurd asked his question, then tried not to chuckle at the others stupid response. He hugged Dib's leg, still crouched on the floor, and kept waiting.
This closet really smelled bad. Like deadly chemicals...

((Dib: *is an a**hole* And I can't be happy without a planet. *squirts Zim*))

Slowly, the guards footsteps lead away. Dib let his breath out and hugged Zim, waiting a full minute before he let go and stood, "I think it's safe." He whispered and slowly opened the door...

((Zim: *screams and writhes* STOP!!! ))

Zim smiled and hugged Dib back when the boy knelt down, happily relaxing, but trying not to purr since noise could give them away. When Dib stood, he got up right after.
No sound was made as the door opened, and Zim didn't see or smell anything immediately. It seemed the dummy henchmen had left. Zim crept out a few steps.

((Dib: *continues* No. ))

Dib followed Zim, looking back and forth repeatedly. No sight of any souls. He looked up, and checked the ceiling, only relaxing when he saw no one.

((Zim: *clings to Dib's foot almost crying from pain* PLEASESTOP!!!! *whimper* I like you!))

Zim grinned widely, seeing that the gaurds had left, then smiled at Dib.
"They're gone! Victory! Let's go!" Zim cheered in a loud whisper, starting to trot down the hallway, claws clicking against the concrete. They needed a way out. His map!
Zim tried to bring up the hologram map they'd used before. It was fuzzy from all that'd happened, but still pretty useable.

((Dib: You....what? *stops*))

Dib grinned and hugged Zim again, looking at the map, "Where are we?" He asked. There were many hallways on the map, with little rooms branching from them.

((Zim: *almost dead, clinging to Dib's foot twitching and burning and coated in mustard*))

Zim visibly deflated, antenna and shoulders drooping. "Uhhhhhhhh....." He squinted at the map. "Here? Or, no, here! Yes! Of course, Zim is sure.... No, uh, here?" Zim pouted and glared at the map. He had completely lost track. Maybe if they tried to find rooms they recognized.... Hey! When you turned your head sideways that one room looked like the head of Dib's father!
