((Dib: Why are you eating my pants!?))

Dib shrugged and looked at the ceiling, then grinned. There was an air vent there, rusted, unused for years. He could see into it for a few feet, and it seemed to head up, at a 45 degree slant, "What about there?"

((Zim: ... You're across the room from Zim... *utterly confused*))

"Yessss! Zim thinks that looks good! Very well! In we go!" Zim cheered, before stareing up at it, then frowned. "Zim cannot reach though, not on Zim's spider legs even."
Zim was getting worried. Why had Dib's father left them here? He didn't dare assume the man had gotten stupid, made a mistake. So far he'd seemed to have planned everything. This was probably a part of his horrible plan!!

((Dib: With no pants on! *points at Zim and his pants*))

Dib frowned and looked at the walkway, then at the hole in the ceiling. His brain hurt trying to think, but...he was sure there was something he could do. With...the walkway...and the air vent with no cover....What was he doing again?

((Zim:... No this's your trench coat. *holds up trench coat* why is Dib not wearing pants?))

"Hmmmmm...." Zim squinted, then looked at the walkway, then the vent again. "Can Dib climb the ladder to the walk-thing?" Maybe they could move the ladder....
What if the Dib parent-unit was waiting up there though? Zim raised his antenna to sniff the air.

((Dib:...DAMMIT! *goes to find pants*))

Dib's face broke into a grin. What Zim said...That's what he was thinking of! Get the ladder and use it to get closer to the air vent, "Yeah! We can move the ladder and...do stuff with it!"

((Zim: ... Where are your pants?))

Zim grinned happily and hummed a tiny bit at the praise from his leader. He couldn't smell any humans besides Dib that were close. But why did Dib's parent unit leave them here? This left him edgy.
"Alright then. Dib-taller, you go up first, then of you slip from your head-meat-injury Zim can try to catch you. Or, yeah, something."

((Dib: I don't know! *runs away*))

Dib nodded and pulled away from Zim, slowly stepped towards the walkway. He could walk, but he had the feeling if he tried to run he would fall. He climbed up the ladder and gave a thumbs up to Zim, "Now you go!"

((Zim: Well, that's not good! You should find them! *follows* ))

Zim climbed right up and stood next to Dib on the platform. Easy enough. And Zim didn't see any of the gaurd humans. "Why do you think they just left us here? Zim is worried, are they planning to trap us?" Zim questioned as he knelt to try and detach the ladder so they could move it.

((Dib: STOP FOLLOWING MEEEE! *hides in a clothing store.))

"I dunno. My father looks smart, but he's really just as stupid as everyone else. Hopefully. The guards might be stupid too." Dib said.

((Zim: Why??? *pops up next to him*
Where's Were?))

"But he had us fooled about how he felt about para-shooting stuff all this time!" Zim insisted, throwing his hands in the air dramatically. In doing so, the ladder was flung from his grasp, and fell away from the platform to the floor below with a crash.
Zim flinched at the sound, eyes going wide when he realized what he'd done. His antenna drooped, and his shoulders hunched slightly, looking ashamed. "Eh, heh, heh, ... Oops..."
