We have powers. We don't know how we got them or why, we just know we have them. Some of us have had powers since birth, others got their's recently. We hide out all over the world, but most of us live in the small town of Halen, Idaho. We are drawn here, like moths to a lamp. Sure, there are a few normal people here but they are few and far between, this town is crawling with us.

You live in the small town of Halen, Idaho and you have powers. Some are small, such as invisibility and flight. Others... Not so much, the ability to create objects out of thin air or the ability to manipulate light for example.

Annie's power is pretty basic, but she uses it to the fullest extent. Sneaking into movies and scaring the regular people of the town are her favorite pastimes. All of the people with powers in the town have pretty much figured out that if the books start floating of the shelf or a little black sports car starts driving itself Annie is responsible.
Personality:
Anika is an open and social person. When she is left alone she tends to get bored and restless, and too much time without social contact makes her fade away. A good night surrounded by friends and laughter soon perks her back up.
She is trusting and truthful, and she isn't good at hiding her emotions from friends or strangers alike. She is confident but not overconfident, sensitive but not touchy. She isn't afraid to give her opinion, or to let someone know when they have offended her, but she doesn't constantly fly off the handle. Sometimes her friends feel slighted by her, because they aren't as open about their feelings as she is, and so she doesn't always notice when they are feeling hurt or down.

Lucy can cause small bolts of electricity shoot from her fingers. Power outage? Lucy will be on it ASAP. If she just had a large amount of caffeine freak electric storms are to be expected (we no longer give her coffee.) If she tries to something large, like powering the entire town, she passes out after about an hour though.
Personality:
Lucy is very shy, and social situations make her nervous. She is most comfortable at home, in her own space, where she feels safe. She has a shaky self-esteem, and she feels uncomfortable and shy in strange social situations. The offhand comments that people make can sometimes hurt her. She rarely steps up to her own defense, however. She hates confrontation and doesn't like to make a fuss.
She is uncomfortable discussing her feelings. She is especially distrustful of strangers, and she works to hide her sensitive spots from them. While she opens up more with her loved ones, even her closest friends can hurt her feelings and may never even know that it happened. There are certain lines, however, that they aren't allowed to cross. When that happens, she tends to snap, and surprise everyone with the intensity of her outburst.

Mat can make water do almost anything. He can also control a wide variety of items to a small degree, if it ever had two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom at one point he can hook into that. His power over those items are quite small though.
Personality:
Mat is an independent, confident person. He marches to the beat of his own drum and doesn't really care what people think about him.
He is an introverted soul, disliking the crowds of morons and idiots that he finds at big parties or clubs. He prefers to be on his own. When he is forced to be social, he gets tired quickly. He needs to spend a night on the computer to recharge.
He has a strong sense of self, and it doesn't bother him much when people criticize him, especially strangers. He cares more about what his family thinks, but not enough to change himself for them. In any case, his loved ones know that under that gruff, aggressive exterior there is a caring friend.

Jon can make people see what isn't really there. If he doing it to one person or a small group his abilities are almost endless, but if he try's to make a group larger than about five people hallucinate he has to have extreeme concentration and even then the hallucinations are very small.
Personality:
Jon is a confident person with a strong sense of self. He can be loud and jocular, and he doesn't really care who hears him. He doesn't spend too much time stressing about how other people see him.
People need to earn his respect in order for him to really start taking them into consideration. He might bend himself over backwards for a friend or family member, but he isn't going to give that sort of special treatment to any old Joe. His loved ones know that under that bold, brash exterior, there is a person who is extremely loyal. He will fight to defend his friends and family from any and all comers. With these special few, he drops that joking exterior and becomes his real self.
