Moonkit trembled and hid behind Fawnpaw.
"What do you want?" whispered Fawnpaw. Clem's gaze turned to Fawnpaw.
"Did you say something?!" she growled.

"Clem," Roseflame said with a sigh. "Leave her alone, please. She's got as much right here in this forest as you do. Perhaps more, because she's a Clan cat."

Blackpelt was puzzled. Snowtail, who had heard most of the conversation, had replayed it for them.
'But why would they do that?vAnd why would it be only Wave and Dusk Clans? Surely if both of them are being chosen for this quest thing, some of us should too?'
'Maybe. But it doesn't make sense why anyone would send someone up to that tribe. They're horrible. My father told me about them when I was young. I couldn't understand why he told me, but he told me I would need it in my future. Maybe he meant now...' Snowtail pondered.
'I'm not sure. It seemed that these guys had dreams? No-one here got any dreams here did they?' Blackpelt asked. 2 answers of no.
'Maybe we should follow them' Silentclaw suggested.
'But there's Cloudstar and the Clan to think about. We can't just vanish.' Snowtail countered. 'We know where they are going. I suggest we return to Camp tonight and sleep on it. That way, if we do decide to follow Cloudstar will know.' She suggested, her silvery voice trembling with excitement. It was clear she wanted to follow. But she turned to Blackpelt for the decision, as did Silentclaw.
'I think we should go with Snowtail's idea. Sleep on it, and tell Cloudstar if we decide to follow. Let's go.' Blackpelt said. He stood up and flicked his tail for the others to follow. They arrived back at Camp, and headed to the den. ''Sleep on it'' Blackpelt thought to himself. ''It would only worry the others if I left now''. He quickly fell asleep.

Dreampaw looked at Palemoon.
"Who's that?" she mouthed to the warrior.
Palemoon shrugged helplessly; she didn't know either.

Clem turned to the she-cat and growled.
"Well, you shouldn't be in Dusk Clan. You should of never left your gang!" she replied then glared at Emberflame.
"And you should be in your kittypet home!" she hissed then looked at Raven.
"Try attacking," she paused looking from the kit to the two apprentices, "the kit. She will be easier!"
Moonkit's eyes widened then she gazed up at the black she-cat. She was looked worried about attacking the kit.
Moonkit unsheathed her claws.
"Ok then!" she growled then looked at the others, "Dont but in! I wanna do this myself!"
Raven shook a little then lept over to where she was.

Roseflame shook in anger but she stepped back.
"If Raven even scratches Moonkit, I'm going to jump straight in," Dreampaw was saying to Fawnpaw. "This entirely isn't fair."
Palemoon shook her head.
"I wouldn't underestimate Moonkit's abilities," she mewed. "She looks ready to rip the pelt off of any Warrior,"

Raven hissed at her then swiped a paw at Moonkit. She quickly dodged and batted her on the head. Raven's eyes angered and she ripped her claws down Moonkit's pelt. She yowled in pain then lept onto the cats back.
"You'll regret that!" she hissed.

Dreampaw took a step forward, her eyes blazing, but Poisonclaw held her back.
"Don't," he said simply.

Raven tryed shaking off the kit but she was clawing on tight. Moonkit raised a paw and clawed he back. Raven yowled in pain.
"You! You pest!" she screamed and flung her off. She hit a tree and fell on the ground.
"Moonkit!" mewed Fawnpaw. Raven was about to finish her off when Clem stopped her.
"Your rubbish, y'know?" she said softly. Raven took a step away from her.
"What!? But I was trying my hardest!"
"I dont care! Your hardest is the strength of her!" she flicked her tail towards Moonkit. Raven sighed.
"You will never be an ally cat, of my gang at least!" she hissed then wandered back into the bushes where she had appeared.
"Dang it!" muttered Raven under her breath.

"Raven," Roseflame stepped forward, smiling. "You showed great skill. If you want to stay in the city, you can join my gang. Lione's gang, I mean. She'd be happy to take you in and train you, just tell them what happened and give them my word."
Poisonclaw scoffed.
"What, go back?" he snorted. "Go back to seeing Clem every day? To see the viscious she-cat every single day and have to explain to her why she joined the other side? Clem would rip the poor thing apart!"
The fire in Roseflame's eyes returned.
"Do you question the protection of my gang?" she demanded.
"It's not your gang anymore. It's Lione's," Poisonclaw sneered.
