[Complicated game]

The man growled and went outside. Flora formed into her human state again and looked into the hole. "Alright. Sevilen, you're not going out by yourself ever again." She said as the floor of the pit rose up. Sevilen wrinkled her nose. "Well someones feeling better. I'll have to test about what happens when you're sick and you become your element." She said, tapping her chin. Flora rolled her eyes. "Whatever. Come on! You want someone killed?" She grabbed Zaem and Sevilens items and threw them over her back and went outside.

Zaem silently followed Flora outside. As soon as they were out of the village, Zaem would have to find a place to burn off the heat he had absorbed. Right now it was only building up, and he couldn't let it seep out for fear of being noticed or for something randomly bursting into flames. Both would be bad.

Once Flora thought they were far enough away, she stopped and fell down next to a tree with a huff. "We signed up for this why?" She asked as she rolled over. Sevilen snorted and sat next to her. "We didn't sign up for this curse." She spat as she pulled out a small handmade map and marked something on it with a bit of charcoal.

"Curse or not, it was a boon there," Zaem said, walking past them. He sat down as far away from any trees as he could. He started releasing the heat in waves so that it wouldn't stay concentrated or get so hot that it would burst into flame.

[Complicated game]

Flora shook her head and snorted. "Remind me to find my birth parents and kill them." She said. Sevilen furrowed her brow. "Your parents abandoned you?" She asked. Flora nodded but didn't say anything after that. "Alright. Back to the plan. We can reach Cabool in the day. After that it's a stones throw to the peninsula." Sevilen explained, seeing the conversation would go nowhere.

"Sounds good," Zaem said. After he got rid of the extra heat from Flora, he stood and stretched. "So what, two days then? Day and a half?"

[Complicated game]

Sevilen nodded. "Just about. Then we find the fourth element, then we go kick some royal-" She coughed and muttered, "Not a very ladylike word." Flora chuckled and got up. "Alright. Let's not tarry when our legs still work." She said as Sevilen folded up the map and shoved the map in her bag.

Zaem agreed. He grabbed his stuff, then turned toward Sevilen. "Which way?"

[Complicated game]

Sevilen groaned and mentally kicked herself as she pulled the map out again, then looked at the shadow of a tree. She pointed one way. "That way!" She said at last as she stuffed the map away.

Zaem nodded and strode forward in the direction Sevilen had pointed. "Then let's not waste any time."
