[Complicated game]

Sevilen looked up with wide eyes. "She's burning up! I mean- feel her forehead! It's like fire. It there a way you could concentrate it and do something?" She asked.

[Interiu]

Thoughts ran through Zaem's head, thoughts that he dashed aside as quickly as he rushed to Flora, falling to his knees before her. "I'd suggest you stay back and not touch either of us," Zaem told her, then added, "and water would be useful, the colder the better if you can find any." He placed one hand on her forehead and one on her stomach. He cursed under his breath, then concentrated, attempting to absorb the excess heat into himself.

Sevilen nodded as she stepped back. "I'll be quick." She ran outside. Water- cold water. Perhaps she could use wind to considerate a cloud? That would take too long. A tavern? No, filled with drunks, someone would catch her and she didn't want a repeat of last summer. "It there an apothecary around here? Water?" She called. She didn't wait for a reply and nearly flung herself into a well only to find it frozen. Rocks! She needed rocks! She bent at the ground and gathered as many stones as she could, though they were small. She threw handfuls at the ice in hopes of breaking it, trying to swallow her fear as a soldier approached. "Ma'am, could you please stop that?" He asked, not noticing her fingers starting to spark.

[Interiu]

Zaem absorbed as much of Flora's excess heat as he could, until she was back down to a close to normal temperature. He made sure that the remaining heat was circulating normally before standing up. Zaem moved away to the other side of the room and slowly started to release the heat into the air around him as carefully as possible, so that he didn't release too much and set the room on fire.

Sevilen threw one more rock down with all she could muster, using air to shove it farther. "Ma'am!" The man yelled, taking her arm but yelping in pain when he was shocked. He stepped back and cradled in hand and glared at her. "Witch!" He yelled. Sevilen wordlessly grabbed the bucket and hit the man over the head before slamming the bucket to the ice and took the bucket, running back to the room and slamming the door behind her.

Flora moaned but opened her eyes when she felt the heat leave. "Zaem?" She asked, knitting her brow as she squinted at him. "What am I doing on the floor? We were at the river and everything went black!" She yelped, shaking his shoulders feebly as she sat up. "Where's Sevilen? Why is it so hot in here?" She looked around the room, her wide green eyes almost a blur as she turned to look around.

[Interiu]

Zaem turned to look at Flora, then slowly stood and opened his mouth to answer her when Sevilen blasted into the room. "What's going on?" Zaem asked, turning toward Sevilen, his voice strained and rough.

Sevilen bounced forward and backwards as someone tried to break in. "Open up witch!" The man called. Floras eyes became even wider. "Hide?" She asked. Sevilen only nodded rapidly. Flora pulled the mats into a corner and pressed her hands down into the earth. A small pit formed around her, not very wide, but deep. "In!" She urged.

[Interiu]

Zaem started towards the door, then stopped, took a breath, and ran quickly over to the hole Flora had created, climbing in quickly. He concentrated, forcing his body to stop radiating heat. The hole was too small, and they would practically bake in the ground.

Flora nodded. "Sevi, in!" She commanded. Sevilen didn't argue and went in the hole, landing beside Zaem. "Flora!" She yelled as she heard the door swing open, and a shadow cover the hole. Sevilen moaned. "Why do I have to be inside a hold with a pyrokinetic?" She murmured quietly. "No offense. You're just kinda hot. Erm- the hole! You're making the hole hot! I swear I'll punch you if you say a word." She grumbled. Flora had become dirt. She was now stretched out above the hole she kept small so she could cover it. The man walked over her about five times, checking everywhere, waving his arms to see if the "Witch" was invisible.

[Interiu]

Zaem kept quiet, slowly sapping away the heat from around them so that even the area around them wouldn't be too warm so as to betray their hiding spot. That, and it made the hole less hot so Sevilen wouldn't overheat and so Flora could stay cool. He waited, tense, wondering if they would be found out or if the man would leave.
