Steven smiled, shrugging lightly. "I'm not running my house by striking fear through everyone. And I hate being called sir and being feared," he said. He began walking again, leading her to...somewhere.

Aurora shrugged, "I don't...run. Not when I'm angry," she said quietly, looking over his shoulder.

"Well, sorry then, sir. You'll hear sir a lot from me..." Celeste said, rubbing the back of her head lightly. "And, I'm pretty sure no one would be afraid of you," she said, smiling softly.

"Well... That is a good piece of infromation..." Eli said. He still held the photo tight to his chest, as if he was afraid to lose it.

Aurora only nodded, shifting her gaze to him. It was strange. Talking to Eli. "I've always been the hardheaded, stubborn, impossible one," she said quietly.

Steven smiled slightly, "They are. The first few days. They expect me to be angry, to beat them," he said. He smiled as he passed by the boy, Elliot, and patted his head gently.

"Hm. We are more alike than I thought..." Eli said. He had meant to think it, but it ended up being a sentence, not a thouht.

"Most masters are like that, sir," Celeste pointed out, her head down once mroe when she remembered Eli.

Steven looks back at her, "Steven, not sir. And I know. My father was that way. I refuse to be like him. As I got older, and when he wouldn't be around, I'd treat the servants with respect. I still have some of them...though they are old, so they mostly rest and look after the children," he said.

Aurora looked at him, "You don't bother to hide it."

"Sorry, sir, I mean, Steven," Celste said, fumbling with her words. It felt plain awkward to call her master by his first name. "You're an extraordinary person, si-Steven. I never thought people could be so nice."

"What?" Eli wondered, not realizing he had said that out loud just quite yet

Steven smiled at her, "Thank you."

"You said we were alike..."

Celeste smiled back. Maybe being here wouldn't be so bad after all, she decided. Steven was a kind person. But still, there was a nagging thought at the back of her mind about her sister...

"Oh did I?" Eli said, rubbing the back of his head. "Well, we are..." he then said awkwardly. Having conversations was weird for him

Steven sighed, "That's pretty much it for the tour. At least, all the important places....I think."

"Trying to hide what?" Eli said, starting to get confused. He was confused in the first place. Now his confusion was starting to frustrate him.

"Well, you have a lovely house," Celeste said, smiling softly. She realized she was going to enjoy it here. Plus Steven said she could see her sister.
