Name:
Roland Hex
Age:
Psh, like he'd be telling somebody;)
Appearance:
About 5"6" ish, rugged, and in good shape. His salt-and-pepper hair was once jet black, but it still goes well with his frequent sarcasm and smug grin. His hands are calloused from years of handling his magic, his house, and his garden. He usually wears plain clothes, either dark green or brown, and his old leather boots. He has dark cobalt eyes that have maintained their bright color since he was born.
Brief personality/history:
Roland is a genuine sorcerer, master of the magical arts. Rumors say that he is a tall, young, and handsome man who prefers the solitude of the woods so that he may practice his experiments, and he could easily kill you with the snap of his fingers. In truth, Roland is far from young and not incredibly tall, but some might call him handsome. He does prefer solitude, but not all of the time. He often spends whole days outside, tending to his little vegetable garden and singing with the birds. He does not perform experiments on anything living, though he could kill you if he wanted to. He really enjoys teaching and spreading rumors about himself.
Name:
Albert Fredrickson
Age:
Eighteen
Appearance:
Albert has a headful of thick, curly brown hair that usually does at it pleases style-wise, and brown eyes to match. He has a bright and happy smile when he's not busy with his studying; then he's in full concentration mode. He's slim for a boy who grew up on a farm, and nowhere near as quick and witty as Roland is. He wears the same as his mentor, though Albert's clothes are a bit better quality, since Roland makes his own. Albert also has a pair of boots, but he doesn't wear them often, since he prefers his old farm shoes.
Brief personality/history:
Albert spends most of his time studying. He's a very polite, very smart boy, though he isn't incredibly brave or athletically inclined. He's quite the bookworm. He loves to learn about everything Roland is willing to teach him, even if barely half of it is actual magic.
Albert's parents were killed in a wave of the plague when he was young, and he was raised on his grandparents' farm. They sent him to school, but he quickly learned everything that he could there. Soon, though, his grandparents also passed away from old age, and he had no one to turn to but the mysterious man who dwelled in the woods and was said to know everything about the world.
