Raven and Aero both followed the rest of the group outside, though Aero still looked glum and kept quiet while Raven had a smile on her face. They both stopped and stood. Raven watched in curiosity, hoping that this would work.

"Yes, this is my absol, Scythe." Jey replied with a small nod as he watched him and Shadow, a bit confused that he actually tolerated her being there and walking around by him. "Like the others, he came with me and battled all those poison type pokemon." He explained.

Scythe looked up at the nurse, immediately growing hesitant and tensing up slightly as he watched her carefully, never taking his eyes off of her. He knew he probably looked like a coward to the other pokemon, even Shadow. He didn't want them to think he was, but couldn't help it. Is she....is she going to hurt me? He asked Shadow quietly, of course the humans couldn't understand him though.

Of course not. Shadow grinned at him, rubbing her cheek against his, hoping to calm his nerves. If she does happen to hurt you, then she doesn't mean to. Sometimes she uses special water which can sting but I think it helps to help wounds. The Umbreon tried to explain, not exactly sure herself but she had overheard the Nurse teaching younger girls before.

The Nurse calming reached into her bag and pulled out some examine tools that did look a bit strange. "Don't worry Scythe, these tools here are going to help me heal you so you can feel better." She said, speaking in a soft voice.

Scythe watched the nurse ever so carefully, still uncertain despite Shadow's words and the nurse's kind looks and attitude. He then looked away and stared at Shadow, as if trying to decide what to do. Scythe then suddenly buried his face against her back, closing his eyes tightly, figuring that maybe if he didn't look it wouldn't be as scary. The absol knew Shadow most likely wouldn't be happy about what he was doing, but he couldn't help it. Scythe was afraid, and also secretly growing a little fond of her.

Shadow felt her face flush a bit but she quickly rumbled happily and let him lean into her. She liked being their to comfort him.

Nurse Joy worked quickly on Absol, using medicine to heal his wounds. She also used a status heal (unless you want him to still be poisoned) along with a a hyper potion to replace any lost HP. "Alright, you should be good to go." Nurse Joy smiled, happy that she had been able to treat the Absol since he had been in pretty bad condition. She then turned to Jey. "I suggest letting him rest a few days like the others and make sure he says off that the leg for a bit too." She then smiled at the other trainers before disappearing back inside.

Jey nodded and looked down at Scythe, smirking faintly to himself. "Oh, I will." He whispered as he watched the absol and Shadow curiously.

Scythe opened his eyes then moved his face away from Shadow, looking down at the ground. S-Sorry.... He mumbled, a bit embarrassed he had just buried his face against her like that. Already, he was feeling better from the nurse though, and was relieved none of that had hurt all that badly, just a tiny little sting was all he had felt.

Shadow grinned, flicking her tail. No problem. She rather happy since this was their first real time to talk. Normally both Calla was more reversed when it came to working with another trainers, but Shadow knew that she must these three for her to be lighten up. The Umbreon was also silently happy that Jolt was not here, for she knew he would be a bit jealous even though the two of them were only really good friends. However, towards Scythe she felt something different.

"Alright, so we ready to go?" Calla asked, "Unless we are aren't hungry anymore?" She teased, looking to the other three with a grin placed on her lips.

"Are you kidding?" Shay exclaimed, "I'm starving." As if to prove his point, his stomach grumbled in agreement. Shark bounced around his feet, already feeling a lot better. Knowing she should be taking an easy, Shay picked her up and tucked her under his arm. "So let's hurry before my stomach shrivels up!"

Scythe smiled and gave a small nod before he heard Jey yell out: "I'm still up for a good meal!" He glanced out at Jey then stood up, lifting his hind leg up that had been injured since he knew that he wasn't supposed to be on it. He didn't want to go back to his pokeball though, so if he had to walk with three legs he was perfectly fine with it.

Raven looked at Calla, surprised she actually seemed more...happy. She smiled though, quickly getting over it and giggling when she heard Shay's stomach. "I'm still hungry! I'm not going to make a stomach sound, but I'm definitely still hungry!" she answered quickly, starving and exhausted from the whole day. It had been rough and now she just needed to rest and eat, like the pokemon probably needed to do as well.

Aero, unlike the others, simply watched them and then gave a simple, small nod. He didn't look as bothered and upset as he had before, but still obviously wasn't acting like his complete usual, joking, teasing, and childish self.

Calla nodded and glanced at everyone. Her eyes lingered on Aero for a extra moments but she quickly looked away. She ran a hand along Shadow's before starting to lead the way, not caring where Shadow walked for a change.

Shadow stayed behind then took her place next to Scythe. She was excited to walk beside him since she normally always walked right next to her trainer.

Shark scrambled on Shay's shoulder as he ran over to the two girls. He draped his arms over both of their shoulders. He had noticed that Aero seemed off and he wondered if the other guy just needed some more teasing for him to join in their jokes and laughs. "Hey Aero! Are you going to come up here and take one of these lovely ladies? Or do I get to buy both of them a lunch?" He called.

Scythe glanced down at Shadow, a little confused why she didn't go walk by Calla as usual. He said nothing, though, and began to limp along quietly. He stumbled only slightly every now and then, not used to using only three legs, but he made sure not to fall over or make himself look like a complete fool.

Aero looked at Shay in silence, hesitating. He didn't really know what to do.

Raven rolled her eyes at Shay then looked at Aero and smiled softly, seeing how he looked shy and unsure for once. "Come on, you don't want Shay to become a dumb player, do you?" She asked, trying to cheer him up and assure him everything was fine now.

Aero watched the three then sighed and looked down for a couple seconds. When he lifted his head though, he chuckled, rolling his eyes. Aero walked over and tugged Calla away from him. "That's true, Shay shouldn't be a player." He replied.

Calla smiled, swiftly turning her face towards Aero so she could him a peck on the cheek. "That's more like it." She giggled, hoping to get Aero back into his usual self. He seemed down about something, or at least that was what Cal took it as. She still didn't know the others, but she really wanted to get to know them and being happy more often would get her that.

Seeing as he was still limping, Shadow gently pushed against Scythe's side, hoping he didn't have to limp so heavily if she helped with some of his weight.

"I'm not player," Shay stated, "But I suppose you'd better keep tabs on your girl, Aero, or I might consider." He countered, sending a wink in Calla's direction which made her giggle again.
