Jey looked over at Scythe and gave a small sigh. He wished the nurse could help the absol, but knew they would never be able to get him to allow that to happen. "Scythe, stop staring." He muttered, seeing as the pokemon kept an eye on Calla's umbreon, hardly ever looking away.
Scythe obediently looked away from Shadow and stood when a Nurse passed by. He limped over to a corner of the room and laid down, closing his eyes but not even daring to let himself fall asleep.

Raven looked up and over at Shay. "I don't see why not...it sounds like it would be fun." She agreed with a faint smile, looking over at Aero quickly as she expected him to tease her that she liked Shay as usual. Oddly, Aero didn't say anything, just sat still. Raven looked away and over at Shay's cheerful mudkip.

"I'm in, what about you two?" Cal asked, looking over at Jey and Aero. "I mean after you both get your Pokemon checked out." She added, suddenly thinking that both boys really did need to that. Cal knew she most likely sounded "motherly" but she was concerned for their Pokemon and was not afraid to voice it.

Shay was silent as he looked between Calla and the two other boys, wondering what they would say. He also agreed with what Cal had said, but was not about to say anything.

"Sure, it sounds fun. A-And you don't understand Calla, I can't...I just can't get Scythe checked out. I really want to, honestly I do." Jey said as he looked over at Calla with a worried expression, obviously not faking or trying to play some kind of joke about it.

Aero didn't reply to any of what Calla had said. Instead, he just stood up and walked over to the nurse, turning in his pokemon in silence.

Calla only nodded, understanding what he was saying. "Is there anything I can do to help?" She asked, glancing over at Aero for a moment. She was totally confused, but would talk to Raven first before confronting him. Looking back at Jey, she wondered why, but knew it was not her place to ask so.

Shadow suddenly climbed from Calla's embrace and stretched her tired and sore limbs before looking over at Jey and Scythe. Then silently she hobbled over to the Absol and laid down beside him so their fur was brushing. The Umbreon was worried for him since it looked like he had taken a bad injury but would not see the nurse.

Jey sighed. "I don't think so. All I know is I have never been able to get him to be checked by a nurse. I don't know if it's fear, or what, but he just seems to freak out. The first time I tried, he became really aggressive and wouldn't let anybody touch him. If they did, I'm sure he would have hurt them. He didn't let me lay a finger on him until we were out of the centre." He explained. "I don't know what the heck I'm supposed to do, I know he's hurt, but I can't figure out how to get him to let the nurse help him."

Once Scythe felt something touch him he opened an eye then saw it was Shadow. Scythe let out a small sigh, rather calm and relieved it wasn't someone else like a nurse. The absol closed his eye again, leaving Shadow there instead of shoving her away. He didn't understand exactly why she was there, but didn't object in any way. Scythe felt a small tingle starting from his right hind paw then spreading up his entire leg, poison. He, however, had no clue that's what it was.

Calla leaned her elbows on her knees, thinking. Jolt was rather aggressive but he normally did as Cal said. "He does understand that Nurses only want to help him right?" She asked, looking to Scythe and Shadow. She was sure Jey was worried for the Absol, she herself was since he looked like he had a pretty bad limp. Calla wondered if perhaps Shadow could show him that Nurses meant no harm, if we was afraid of them. Cal knew that she normally felt better when someone did something before her who was comfortable. Such as when she went to get needles, which she hated. She had to have them like everyone else and she that it only lasted a few seconds but she still had a nasty fear of them. Normally she did not freak out as much when a friend was there to comfort her.

"No....I don't think he understands that." Jey replied with a sigh, looking over at the absol and Shadow. "He's seen plenty of pokemon get checked by a nurse, but I guess he's still scared of them for some reason." He mumbled. "I wish he could somehow realize that it's not bad at all to be helped by a nurse."

Scythe kicked his hind leg out slightly to try getting rid of the weird feeling in it. He opened his eyes to look around shortly then look at Shadow then closed them again tiredly. Scythe couldn't help but like having someone next to him, especially someone he knew wasn't going to try and get him to go to a nurse forcefully.

Calla was silent. She had no idea how to help Jey or Scythe. In the few minutes of silence, Nurse Joy returned with all their Pokemon and left once another trainer came in with wounded Pokemon.

Shay suddenly looked up after being quiet for a while. "Perhaps if we let all of our Pokemon out and one of the Nurses comes out here to look at Scythe, then that might be more comfortable for him. Or even go outside for him to be examined." He suggested, thinking that if perhaps they narrowed down the reasons for why the Absol did not want to be healed by the Nurse, then they might be able to find the issue and help him.

Luna smiled happily as Blue chowed down on his food. They had made it to the town and all three of her Pokemon were completely healed. They said outside on a hilltop, over looking most of the town and the surrounding forest. It was nice to be outside just enjoying their time. Knight also seemed happy at being back after his fight and to spend time with the rest of group. Ivy happily laid on his head and flicked her green tail around as she looked down at the town below.

"I think that's a good idea." Raven agreed as she watched them. "Maybe something in the building is what scares him." She smiled faintly, trying to convince Jey. They had to try something, or else Scythe might get even worse. She stood and walked over to ask the nurse if she would check the absol outside.

Jey nodded. "Alright, I guess we could try taking him outside." He smiled, getting a little hope that Scythe wouldn't freak out. He stood and looked over at Shadow and Scythe. "Scythe, come on, let's go outside now." He called and walked out.

Scythe lifted his head and opened his eyes, looking over at Jey when he was called. He nudged Shadow's neck gently with his muzzle before standing up rather clumsily, keeping his whole hind leg unused as he limped over and out of the door, sitting down a little ways away from the entrance on some nice grass.

"Excuse me, nurse, will you please come see my friends pokemon outside? He doesn't behave in the building." Raven asked as she looked at the lady, hoping she would agree.

Shadow followed at Scythe's side and sat down next to him outside, wondering what might be going on. Calla soon followed them both, and waited for the others, hoping Shay's idea would work.

The nurse nodded, "Yes, I will be just a moment." She smiled, nodding her head before slipping into the back home.

Shay carried Shark outside and put her down on the grass. The Mudkip walked over to the Absol with a large smile. "Mud Mud!" She exclaimed before going over to Jet once Shay let the Flygon out of his Pokeball.

Soon the nurse came back with a few examining tools. "Alright. I'm I looking at his handsome fellow right here?" She asked, looking at the Absol who was the only one she had not seen.
