By Roger, Matt was led to a door. The man halted, evidently Matt mimicked it. Then he was told that this is where is room would be for now on, he'd have to share it, and finally was allowed to enter. Roger opened the door and gestured for the goggled boy to enter. Matt slightly shrugged and stepped into the room.
Upon entrance, the first thing noticed was the other person already in there. This was the same person from earlier, with blonde hair in a rather feminine style and black clothes. They were sitting on a bed, eating a chunk of chocolate. So, this is my room mate... interesting... The redhead thought to himself, eyeing the room. It was kept rather tidy, much cleaner that Matt could ever keep a room. That's for sure.
After looking a round for a tid bit, Roger spoke. It did not sound like he was speaking to Matt, so the redhead did not listen. Matt figured he was telling the other student that he would now have to share his room with Matt.
Mail Jeevas was right, and after telling this person that Roger left the room, slipping the door shut behind him. Matt fiddled with his goggles, changing the way they lie around his grassy green eyes. He was not sure what to say, or if he should say anything. So instead of speaking, he just reached in his pocket and pulled out a game-boy.

After nodding to Roger,Mello glanced at the new kid. Huh. This was rather unexpected...oh well. He thought, then took another bite of the chocolate before saying, "Hi. I'm Mello." He frowned slightly, took another bite out of his chocolate, and tried to remember what Roger had said before.
Oh, that's right, he had pretty much only told them that there was a new kid.
Right.....well, then again, he had been ignoring him the entire time, but that was besides the point.

Matt stopped messing with his goggles and looked at this kid. Which now had to a name. Mello. He'd have to remember that. "I'm Matt," The redhead said not really looking at his new room mate, his eyes were focused on the video game screen. He turned the power on and the screen lit up. It made a little jingle sound. Next the game was supposed to start but instead the device froze.
Angrily Matt shook the game system and shouted at it. "Hey!" he yelled and restarted the game. It worked this time. He sighed in relief and pressed play.
His fingers rapidly pressed the buttons. A, A, B. Up, down, down, left, right, up. He was once again lost in a video game, totally forgetting that Mello was there.

Mello chuckled to himself and went back to his chocolate. Video game addicts.....apparently his new roomie was one of them. He took a bite out of the chocolate and glanced at the ceiling boredly. Great, awkward silence.

Other than the sound of Matt killing virtual creatures it was quiet. Then he heard a faint chuckle and snapping sound. The laugh was obviously from this Mello kid, the snapping sound was him biting a chunk of chocolate off the rest. The redhead snapped out his video game induced trance when the sound run his in ears.
"Oh, uh, sorry, I got distracted," Matt muttered still looking at the screen. Though he was saving his progress so he could quit the game. A little note popped up and said that the saving was successful. So he flipped the power switch and shoved the game boy back into the pocket of his jeans. He looked at Mello, orange tinted goggles still over his eyes.

"No, it's fine." Mello sat up. "Anyways, what's up?" He smirked slightly and took a bite out of the chocolate bar. Hm. This kid seemed interesting...well, more so than the others, and certainly more so that that big-headed jerk Near....

He watched Mello rip off another piece of the candy from the spot he was standing in from first entering the room. "Uh, nothing really. This place is kind of interesting, so it seems," Matt mumbled, not really sure what to say. He shifted his weight from his left foot to the right. Matt ran his fingers through the red hair. "So, yeah, and you?" He asked, trying to conversation rolling.

"Pretty much the same." Mello shrugged. He wondered if he should warn him about Near's big-headedness, but decided against it for now. Man, this was seriously awkward. Before he could say something probably really stupid, the dinner bell rang.
