[Chartreuse]

(ok. I'm back now!)

Tex look down at mosi "hmm... Yeah, guess you can come! Besides, your old enough to fend for yourself I guess!" She smiled at peridot and barked "so, you wanna come?"

Mosi wagged his tail happily at the thought of going on a hunt. He smiled his crooked smile and barked in excitement.

Parfait trotted up to ryland and barked "hi, thought I'd keep you company"

Ralph nodded his head as he entered the familiar camp clearing. It's own warmth and familiarity spread through him like fire as he stood for a moment breathing hard. Two silhouettes stood on a rock and he noticed with a pang of loneliness how lonely he felt.

[Amitta]

Peridot nodded in agreement. "I think it would be great to let him come along. Maybe it can show him how his life will be like when he mature a bit," the female wolf added as she gazed over at the pup and smiled fondly. Just glancing at him was enough to bring back memories from her puphood.

Ryland smiled as he streatched,picking up the scent of one of his packmates. Parfait. With a smile he got up and tilted his ehad so that he was looking directly at her. "Good morning. How are you so far?," he asked as he settled down on the rock again facing her.

(I'm getting a bit of writer's block so my posts may be shorter. I'll try to get the forms of the two other wolves finished as well.)

(ok! That's ok!)

Tex smiled and barked at mosi "come along then!" tex considered checking the Borders as they went. She set off at a pace and reached the edge of the woods in no time. Mosi panted up behind her out of breath and barked "what now?" tex smiled at the pups eagerness and barked "we hunt! But be careful to not cross the Borders!" she looked at peridot for acceptance before padding off into the forest. She smelt the elk before she saw it. A strong, exciting smell. She crept forwards and pounced at the last moment. Almost to late. Almost, but just in time. She stiffened when thebtrees rustled behind her. Withna jolt she realised she had crossed the boundaries and was in trouble.

"I'm good thanks." barked parfait.she stiffened as the breeze blew against her fur. "what is that? Another wolf?" she snarled.

Ryland' head jumped up to the sound of Parfait's voice. "They are alreayd causing trouble," he snarled angerily as he leapt down from his perch on the rock and started to padd towards the scent. He waved his tail at Parfait,asking her silently to join him. They had to be quiet. He wanted to catch these wolves right in their tracks.

Peridot jumped back in fear as she beckoned for her to make her way back over the border. "if they catch us they'll acuse us of stealing prey," she pleaded unhappily as she tried to pick up the scent of any oncoming Pine Grove wolves.

Parfait nodded her head in agreement. She set off at a steady walk right behind ryland. Her mind buzzed with tactics. She glanced around wearily in search of the other pack.

Tex flicked her tail to show peridot that she had heard. A rabbit rushed across the ground ahead of her and she gave chase. She just couldn't resist. For a moment she forgot about the territory she was on and almost collided with two other wolves. Stumbling back in fright she glanced over at her shoulder to seeif peridot and mosi had followed. She couldn't see them both. What type of leader was she if she lead her pack across the border?

Ryland growled as he noticed the shape of Golden Sun's alpha and not only that but her scent. "What do you think you are doing? Trespassing on our territory! I never though I'd see you do such a thing." His voice was loud as he glared at her. He usually didn't get like this. Yet at the time he really wanted to get this settled.

Peridot flicker Mosi's ear with her tail. "We can't follow her there. Even if she is in trouble. I have a feeling she would want us to stay here for now." Though to be honest she wasn' so sure. What if their alpha needed help?

Tex growled back at Ryland "I will be gong my own way. I merely only crossed your territory for that stupid kill! I can promise you won't be seeing me again any time soon!" she spat the words out with such ferocity that even she was taken aback by how she sounded. She bared her teeth and retreated a few steps. But she didn't cross the borders. Something stopped her. Something inside her. Tex growled and flexed her claws Stop it Tex! Stop it! What do you think you are doing? Her mind reeled as she came back to her senses. Backing up further she hesitated before spitting out "Don't get any ideas about crossing MY territory!" She arched her neck proudly and whispered in a quieter tone "I'm not going to loose my territory again!" With her last words she turned around and trotted slowly away from the two wolves. She edged along the border making a point. She was NOT going to hurry any where any time soon. Slowly, she treaded lightly untill she faced her own borders and delibratly crossed the line to safety. She turned around and snarled at the shadows before bounding off to find Mosi and Peridot. oh! SAhe had almost forgotten the elk too!

Mosi looked up at peridot with concern in his eyes "Ok..." he muttered. "so... what now?" he'd just said the words when Tex bounded into view dragging a full sized elk.

Parfait's fur bristled at the sight o the other alpha. She growled and retreated slightly. She had a feeling that Ryland might need her to back him up. But she didn't think that he wanted her right there at the moment. When the fae retreated she steppe forwards and barked "Now what?" She sat down on the spot and curled her tail around her paws.

Ralph stared up at the trees behind him. maybe he should go hunting after all? he made up his mind and padded swiftly in the direction he had come from. To the woods!

(I'm sorry I couldn't post much today. I forgot all about this project I had to finish. I'll start posting sooon or tommorow maybe.)

Ralph stalked a rabbit hungrily. He crouched low to the ground and approached the rabbit form the side. With one pounce he cut off the Rabbit's breath and dragged it hungrily back to camp. He looked about ins earch of other wolves and started pcking through his kill with satisfaction.

Parfait looked at Ryland quizacly. "What now?" she asked, irritation sneaking into her voice. She was unable to hide how depressed she was at the moment. rain clouds hung ovee the sky and she shivered despite the warm breeze.

Mosi yelped in surprise "We did it! We did it! Hmm! Yummy food!" he pranced around Tex and tried to grab the elk from her, but tex was stronger.

Tex laughed softly "calm down Mosi, we need to go back to camp, away from the borders. I'm sure peridot will check them out later. But we need to eat now. i think it might rain soon." she chuckled at the young pup's energy and lead the way back to camp.
