[No problem. ^^]
Kyle was driving down toward the hospital, wondering if Haley's case had gotten any better. It probably hadn't but he could always hope that she would one day get her memory jogged and then recognize people again. So far, there hadn't been any hope. Sighing, he pressed on the gas pedal and reached the speed limit or maybe a few miles over; impatience gnawing at him like a hungry and wild animal that wasn't in the mood to be messed with. Her mother had been so sad that her daughter had gotten into that accident, and he did his best to smile as he came every day to give her support. She needed it.
When the huge white building came into sight, he slowed down slightly and drove into a parking space. Eager to get up there, he immediately turned off the car and jumped out. Well, if you count jumping out as being choked by your seat belt. Noticing his error and rubbing his neck, Kyle unbuckled then jumped out. At a fast pace, he ran past cars coming in and walking families with children clinging fearfully to their parents. When he got in, people tried to tell him to slow down, but he kept going until he was in Haley's hall. That was when he slowed down, being careful to not make much noise. The people in here had serious cases of illnesses, and he didn't want to get in trouble at the moment.
He stopped in front of her room door. Her name card was neatly slipped into the little plastic slot below that, and he gently put his hand on the door knob, as if he feared it would break. When he stepped inside, he saw the familiar face of the girl he knew so well, and saw her crying. His hands went behind his back as one of the nurses looked up skeptically. "I'm here to visit the patient, Ms. Haley Fulton." Kyle commented quietly, and when she looked back down he walked over to the bed.
