"We're gonna have to look for blankets and such in here, I guess. It's the only safe thing to do so we don't get hypothermia or frost bite since it's pretty chilly." Austyn sighed, shooting a glare when Aoi replied that he wouldn't stop calling him kid. The cold air, mixed with humidity, sent a chill up his spine and he shivered, resisting the urge to let his teeth chatter. But he wouldn't show weakness in front of another male, especially if he was older. No, I'm not a weak little boy that can't handle cold. I spent years and years in Colorado, but this is worse because of the added stuff. Accursed southern states. First it is hot as hell in the summer, then it gets freezing in the winter and autumn. Great.

Aoi thought a little and then nodded. "You're right." It seemed like Austyn acted more like an adult than him. Aoi shook his head and switched his doggy ears playfully. He jumped from the couch and looked at Austyn. "You know, before you came, I was looking around and there's a nice bedroom... The bed is a little dusty but I guess comfortable." Aoi shrugged not minding. Alright, this coming from my mouth will probably sound a little perverted.. Aoi thought. "I mean.. If you want to sleep, you can sleep in there." Aoi smiled a little and took his way to the small bedroom. The door was open since he was exploring the room before so he just walked in and went to the wardrobe in a hope of anything warm. He opened it wide and a scream was heard. "Stupid, stupid mouse!" Aoi yelled at the small creature as it ran for it's life. "Well, I guess I'll put Austyn to get rid of all those." he joked to himself with a smirk. He pulled two blankets from the wardrobe and threw them on the bed, raising dust. He continued searching the drawers for anything else interesting.

"Ha, ha, that sounded funny." Austyn replied, rolling his eyes with a little laugh. He followed Aoi until he screamed, and saw the furry grey-brown body flash by him. His ears flicked forward and he pounced like the animal he really was, and he sank his teeth into his neck. Walking in and throwing the body onto his hand, he walked into the room, throwing the body onto the ground. "I guess we can survive on mice as well." He joked lamely, not sure if it was funny or not. Probably not, that was a pretty dang gay one. Austyn thought.

Aoi stared down at the little dead animal. "Poor thing.. But it deserves it- it almost gave me a heart attack." he said and then chuckled a little before gazing back at Austyn. "At least you will have something to do since there must be more mice around." Aoi joked and then opened a drawer. He chuckled a little and pulled out some white pajamas that must have been for women- since they had little red and pink hearts on them. Aoi smirked and looked at Austyn. "I found you clothes." he joked and gave them to him by pushing it against Austyn's chest. "Cute pajamas tho." Aoi smirked and continued exploring. "For some reason, I love this house." he said chuckling.

"I am not a girl, you jerk." Austyn hissed, resisting the urge to blush when Aoi's hands met his chest. He's absolutely not cute... Well, maybe just a little bit. Wait! What are you thinking? You can't be prancing around, being a retard and having crushes on people you just meet! He could just as easily be a murderer, trying to make be feel safe before he rips out my throat with his claws! How can I be so trusting? His mind battled, and then he sighed. "Yeah, this house is good." He honestly didn't know what else to say.

Aoi chuckled a little. "Well, I already know you are not a girl." he said and smirked. "But I think it'll look cute on you." Aoi's mind immediately imagined Austyn wearing the pajamas and having two small ponytails. Aoi shook his head and rolled his eyes. His mind was messing with him... again. "Mmm..." Aoi hummed while thinking. He glanced at Austyn with bright eyes. "Why don't we meet each other better? Like share some random information." Aoi shrugged not minding. Besides, after the storm stopped, their little time would probably end too. I mean... who will want to stay with me by their own will..? Sad thoughts traveled in his mind. For some reason, he didn't want to lose any time from meeting Austyn. He... just wanted a friend... "I don't mean too personal." Aoi thought a little and then smiled. "Like what's your favorite color." A simple, harmless question.

"My favourite colour is dark orange. What's yours?" Austyn replied, putting down the pyjama bottoms on the bed and looking once more at Aoi. He looked just a bit sad at the moment, and he hated to see anyone look like that. Feeling a bit of sorrow in his heart, he wondered what was going on in the other male's head, and thought of why he might feel that way.

"Dark orange?" Aoi repeated skeptically. "Mine must be black." Aoi smiled warmly and then played with his lip piercing while his stare traveled around the room. Aoi walked to the bed and plainly sat. "Alright, then, what do you like to do in your free time? Or used to do.." Aoi said frowning a little in thoughts. The was a chance for Austyn to not have any free time... Which sounded logical since they were chased by humans and dogs that bit hard.

"I just think in the short periods of time that I have when I'm not running. And nice favourite colour." Austyn replied, sitting down on the bed beside the other male and looking at him. "What I used to do was write or read a lot, since I used to be so secluded and kept myself shut off. Thanks to that, I'm currently alive today with barely any scratches on me." With his last sentence, he offered a slight smile.

Aoi chuckled a little. This kid seems like he's the total opposite of me. "Write? Like books or something?" he asked curiously. "And I wish I was like that. But I tended to mess around with... let's say not nice people." Aoi made a grin and smiled. "This gave me the scars I have." he admitted and sighed rolling his eyes. Who was the kid after all? "And I still like to mess around with humans." Aoi shook his head in disappointment for himself and his own attitude.
