Renesmee hugged Jacob, burying her face into his chest, her eyes full of tears. "Are you okay? He didn't hurt you did he?" she asked lookng up at him with her tear stained face, searching for any pain in his eyes. "jake stop shaking." she whispered stroking his cheek.


Edward turned back to face Renesmee and Jacob ad flew forwards once more, keeping his tone low but threatening. "one foot out of line Jacob i will rip that doggy head og yours right off. Dp you understand me mut! One foot." he told him through clenched teeth.


Jasper felt a sudden mood change in the room. Something had happened, Had alice seen something? he looked around the room at his family, they all but Emmett (who was throwing a ball up in the air and catching it) were staring into space.

Jacob smiled down at Renesmee and kissed her forehead "I'm fine" he held her tightly then looked up at Edward and growled.

Alice ran down the stairs "well this is going to be interesting" she announced sighing a little "that mutt is with Renesmee"

Jasper turned around "I felt the mood change. Weren't they always together? It was inevitable was it not?" he asked, surprised that the person who Alice had seen this through was so surprised.


"Jake please, don't let hm get to you." she whispered trying just as hard to ignore her father as she was asking Jake too.


"DO.... you under.....stand?" Edward asked again as Jacob had not answered him.

Alice shrugged "well, it's quite interesting"

Jacob smiled at her "I won't" he looked at Edward "I do, sir" he almost took the micky out of it.

"Go.... dad." Renesmee growled still standing between the two of them.


Edward growled back at her but turned away, walking past Bella and into the forest.

Bella bit her lip following him but still givng him space.

Jacob held her close protecting her, just in case.

Renesmee turned to face him and smiled weakly. "I'm sorry." she whispered burying her face in his chest.


Edward flew quickly back to the cottage and ran in, smashing the dinning table as he slammed his fist down on it.

Bella stood near the cottage not wanting to go in.

Renesmee sobbed silently, "Don't listen to him Jake.... He doesn't know anythng.2 she told him tilting her head to look up at him.


Edward came back out and looked at Bella. "I'm sorry." he mumbled looking down at the floor.
