Vannie could hear the music blasting through Allysa's ipod and Van rolled her eyes. She didn't think she would be the kind of person to listen to Rick Astley, and then she grunted, tossing the book across the room and getting up from the warm spot on her black bed sheets. She jumped down from her bunk bed and yanked the buds from her ears. Since when did you like hippie music? That is a horrible song. She frowned slightly as a funny video came on of a fat man falling off a trampoline. This immediately triggered her to laughing hysterically. Her father woke up and opened the door. Guys, please be quiet.. Allysa I can hear your music from the room, Van, act like an older sister and be quiet. He slammed the door and Vannie just stuck the middle finger up at him, fury bundling inside of her. She was always taught to be a role model, but she was 19 and her sister was 17, she was sure Allysa could handle herself, on her own. She just rolled her eyes as her mother walked through the door. Vannie checked the clock. Van felt extremely tired, slowing her thoughts down and her eyes looked tired. She groaned. What could you possibly want at 1 in the morning, mom? She yawned as her mother just rolled her eyes. We are going on a road trip to see Uncle Bob you guys! Pack up, we are leaving. In like 50 minutes, as it will take about a day to get there. Her mother smiled and just walked out of the door.
Vannie hated roadtrips. She wasn't a very active girl. Ugh, I hate uncle Bob. She muttered as she threw shorts, many shirts, some underwear, and thongs into her bag roughly and she zippered her bag shut loudly. She popped her gum again and groaned as she crawled onto the top bunk and grabbed her book, tossing it down onto her bag and she grabbed her iPod touch with her pink Gumy earbuds. Why do we have to go now?! She unzipped the bag loudly and threw the rest of her stuff in, grabbing and quickly putting a black sweatshirt on.
