You’re taking a walk down a secluded road, miles out of town and the leaves are falling around you in reds, yellows, and oranges. It doesn’t seem like anything is green or brown so nothing is dying. It’s a bit odd but pretty at the same time. A single gravel path is off to the left side of the two lane road. It’s the only path for miles around and seems almost out of place. The wind blows the leaves around, looking up you could see a storm cloud forming. This wasn’t good. You were miles away from town and couldn’t make it there in time. You’re only choice is to go down the road and hope there’s a house with friendly people. Just before you go down the road, you see a faded sign with words you couldn’t make out. It didn't matter to you as the rain started coming down in a down pour. Going up the road at a run now, you notice there are faint lights in the window. It wasn’t a house, it was a mansion. You are dripping wet and shaking from the wind and rain as you knock on the door. A black and brown dog in a forensic jacket opens the door. “Welcome. I see you have found my home, Halloween Manor. I hope you like it here.” He says, letting you in and shutting the door. Spider webs are everywhere and the only lights come from floating candles. There are bats around and a crescent moon can be seen outside the window. Flashes of lightning lit the room further and everything was in dark red, black or orange. Looking around, it’s a decent place, if you don’t count the spiders, bats, random pumpkins all over, and the creepy person who let you in. Looking back over to him, you could see he now was holding a crab and staring at you. “I hope you like your stay.” He says, and turns to leave, cackling lightly.
