Al looked at her sadly."Is there.....anything we could do to try and cheer you up...?" He murmured.

Alyssa nodded, looking over at her."Not even the best things can cure what she's going through." She blinked slowly.

"Well, you can't bring my parents back to life...I know that. So, no. Candy, dolls, bows, clothes: they mean nothing to me. I'd rather die, than go on living in pain like this.". So, Moon stood up, took the box out of the tree, and took something shiny out. She held it in the light. It was a knife.

Envy stared at her, wide-eyed. "Moon! What the hell are you doing?!"

"No! Don't kill yourself!" Al exclaimed, reaching for the knife.

Moon held it away from him. "Why not? I've got nothing else to live for. And, I can be with my parents." She held the knife close to her neck, ready to end it all.

Envy lunged at her, reaching for the knife. "You suicidal child, stop it! Your not really going to go through with this, are you?!" He yelled at her.

Moon nodded slowly. The skin on her neck touched the cold blade, and Moon slowly started to regret her decision.

"Don't you dare!" Ed said, knocking it away from her."You don't see me or Al trying to kill ourselves! See what we've been through? Better yet, look at her! She isn't trying to kill herself!" He jerked his head towards Alyssa, who was staring at Moon in shock.

Envy quickly took the fallen knife away, hiding it behind his back.

Moon's eyes were dull with sadness and pain. "But you all have something to live for," she said, almost to herself.

"Yeah? What does she have to live for?" Ed muttered.

Envy gave him a cold stare. "Me. She's got me."

Moon nodded slowly. "She has love. And so do you and Alphonse. People love you. No one knows I exist. I may be a state Alchemist, but no one cares to remember me."

Her face reddened a little, and she looked down.

"We remember you! We all care about you, Moon!" Al said.

"That may be true, but you haven't known me that long now, have you?" She asked, her voice and eyes dull. Her eyes were on the ground, not looking at any of them.
