(I think I'll bring Keirce in now.)
Cutting down between to buidlings, Cam walked as his subconscious led him somewhere. Knowing nothing, Cam felt more like a lost soul than a wandering person. Again it struck him how quiet and empty everything was. Right up until he heard the sound of someone running his way. The footsteps grew louder and picked up their pace, as a girl with wild red hair burst from the way Cam was headed. "Run," She panted, even though he hadn't the slightest clue who she was. Instinct took over though, not allowing her the chance to tell him twice. Cam cold just feel something was wrong, then he spun and followed after the girl.
With her red hair blocking her eyes, Keirce swept a hand from one side to the other in front of her eyes. One moment she had been walking, looking for others. Someone who could explain to her what the hell was going on. In the next instant, a mishapen thing had stood and looked at her, baring teeth sharper than knives and eyes darker than the black of night. Without a thought she had ran, not wanting to take even the slightest chance with the beast. In the process she had ran into the boy, the first human she had met since the world had gone quiet. Run!, she had gasped in her mind, or did she speak the single word out loud too? Either way the boy was following, then leading her somewhere deep within a maze of buildings. Until he finally stopped and slowed, approaching a girl on a bench. "Allaina, wake up. Or talk, or sit up. Something." He had told her in a worried voice.
